I was able to tailor the class to my fitness level, and the coaches were extremely helpful. I can tell they’ve built an amazing community and can’t wait to train again when I’m back in town!

The coach led a very thorough warm-up and took time to explain the workout in detail, which I really appreciated. The community was extremely welcoming and the members were friendly and encouraging. Overall, it is an awesome gym with a great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Knoxville area looking for a solid CrossFit experience.

Experiencia fantástica: When i moved from my home gym in TX, the only gym I've ever been apart of, I was really worried I wouldn't find the quality coaches I was used to or a community as strong, but I definitely found that with Crossfit Courageous! The coaches are great, and hyped to be there. They love their members and everyone is friendly, even to a new comer. Can't recommend them enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I joined this gym in 2017(?) with some friends while in pharmacy school and it was one of the best things we did. Not only is it great for the community and working out but the friendships you build! Most of my friends come from this gym (old location & new!), whether they are members still or not, whether they live in the state anymore or don’t, I cherish the memories made and people that I’ve crossed paths with. I don’t go as often as I once did but am still welcomed as I was on day 1. Coaches are great, work with you and very approachable. People from all aspects of life come together under this roof to better themselves (or just get away from everyday stressors). Drop in and see for yourself!

The workouts are well-structured, the coaching is great, and the community is supportive. I’ve been a member for over three years and still look forward to every session.

They recently moved into a huge facility with tons of space and equipment. You will find people with all sorts of fitness backgrounds, from never touching a barbell to competitive athletes. Plus you will meet like minded people that will become the best of friends!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience at CrossFit Courageous. I teach locally at South College with a team of 8 other faculty. Our program requires us to fly into Knoxville 4 times a year for about a week. We all wanted to do the CrossFit Open. Finding a box that can accommodate that number of drop ins is typically very difficult. Zach and his members were not only accommodating but made us feel welcomed. We greatly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be back. First class operation with some amazing people. A perfect example of what CrossFit embodies with community. Thank you!

They modified workouts as needed and were very knowledgeable at seeing where I needed to make adjustments in my form. Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE: It has now been over 1 year at Crossfit Courageous, and I must say it just keeps getting better...and I am getting better too! So read what I wrote 10 months ago and double it! This is a great crossfit community, very helpful and encouraging to all, no matter your beginning abilities. They are mindful of your individual needs and help you start your individual plan of exercise. All classes/workouts are scalable and I really need that! I had open heart surgery about 17 months ago so the team at Crossfit Courageous (CFC) is helping me carefully exercise. It has been almost 3 months and I have learned many of the exercises and seeing improvements. I definitely recommend CFC to anyone wanting to try crossfit, or who wants to continue their crossfit journey with a great community.

Experiencia fantástica: The owners are very kind and knowledgeable. I love how thorough they are with warmups and mobility after. Some of the best programming I've seen after trying out different gyms with all of our military moves. Challenging and yet they always provide modifications for all my various pre-existing injuries (back, etc). It's nice to feel like they are concerned with form instead of just muscling through something and hurting yourself.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an amazing place to be at if you're looking for good competition training or if you're looking to add a fitness regimen added into your life. The coaches are awesome, always willing to work with you on your desired goals, the environment is very outgoing and motivating, and they have all the equipment that is expected out of CrossFit box. Aside from the challenging training, the box is also equipped with showers and lockers for those of us who are on a tight schedule, and a visible kids room to give parents peace of mind while they work-out. Finally, there's also a mobility room that offers my favorite item: NormaTec recovery boots! I highly recommend CrossFit Courageous to everyone! Great coaching, programming, quality for your hard earned money, and a great community.
