Experiencia positiva: I have been a member at this gym for a couple years under my family's membership and I really love it but there is one big and consistent issue for me; their holiday hours. Obviously, people need time off during the holidays, there's nothing wrong with that but what this gym does is either shorten hours or close completely on days *leading up* to the holiday *and after* the holiday. So for example, this Christmas, they cut their hours for almost an entire week. I have been a member of many gyms and I have never been to a gym where they shorten their hours so much. And I'm not talking about only big holidays like Christmas. They do this for much smaller holidays sometimes too. It can leave you pretty confused and frustrated when you need to hit the gym. I think part of it that annoys me is that I don't think that they do this so their employees can have time off. I think they do this to save money, and it's not like they charge you any less on months where they've cut their hours for several days. So, if you're serious about your fitness or you don't have a super flexible schedule, you'll either want a different gym or you'll have to have a second gym membership. I've consistently considered canceling my membership and just going to an Anytime Fitness but I really do like this place. If it wasn't for the holiday hours issue, it would easily be 5 stars. I also want to add that this gym still deserves its almost 5 star rating. I am certain that my review isn't going to make it drop very much, and it shouldn't. But I wanted to let anybody who might have an issue with this kind of thing know that it can be very frustrating. But probably a lot of people out there can work around the gym's holiday hours more easily than I can.

Experiencia negativa: Dishonest billing practices. I was told I was paying for one single month, with no recurring charge because I don’t live locally. I found out that they have been charging me monthly for a year. When I reached out to get in touch with the owner I was told she would call me back. It’s been 4 days…no response. I also emailed her with no response. I would just like to get this resolved.

Experiencia fantástica: By far one of the best gyms I've been to. I'm from out of town and I was just visiting family. I chose this gym because it looked like it would meet my fitness needs and it far exceeded them. It has everything you would need for each lift or exercise and it's never packed. The lighting throughout the gym is on point for any photos and the staff is outstanding. Thank you guys so much for letting me use this gym and 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly, I'm hesitant to give this review, because the selfish me is afraid this place will blow up. This gym felt like a personal gym, not crowded with the best Precor equipment. Kind of like a gym that you'd build in your dream mansion. I've traveled across the world, visited all kinds of gyms, I'm even a member of Equinox in LA; nothing comes close to the Sol Fitness experience. Not only this gym offers state of the art equipment, it is located in the most beautiful landscape NM has to offer. Every morning was the highlight of my day; waking up 5am to go to a fancy empty gym filled with amazing helpful trainers. When the clock hit 6:30am, thats when the magic happens, the sunrise from the adjacent mountains hits the glass walls of the gym, illuminating its interior. The feeling is magnanimous, you gotta experience it to understand. Though I never trained with the trainers: Tyrone, Duane and Suyan, I saw them connecting with their clients on a personal level, every. single. day. bright and early. I'm grateful to have gone to Sol Fitness. Best gym experience of my life so far!

Sol Fitness is a great blend of everything that's good about a gym. Everyone from people just trying to stay healthy to fitness-geeks fit in here. It's a mom and pop kind of a place run by a mom and pop that know how to run a commercial gym!

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is great! It is low key and usually not crowded. I’ve been to many gyms over the past 15 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Sol Fitness is extremely clean and well maintained. The brand of equipment is Precor, and the weights are Umax. All the equipment looks brand new. This gym has two squat racks. One of the racks has a full set of bumper plates for deadlifting and Olympic lifting. The largest free weights are somewhere around 120lb. The locker room is very modern with brightly lit lights, shower, full mirrors, and benches. The style of locker requires that you bring your own lock.

He also is very knowledgeable about muscle groups, diet, and overall health. He really cares about each one of his clients and I think that’s what set him apart from other trainers. Over all Sol fitness is a great gym and a positive environment to be in!!!

I never liked working out until I joined Sol Fitness. ABQ residents (especially in Mesa del Sol,) you'll want to join this gym.

Yes, it’s a beautiful and spotless boutique gym and has more than everything I need, but really it comes down to the energy and positive vibe I get while I’m sweating my butt off (literally) that keeps me coming back 3x a week at 5am. The team is committed to their patrons. Monique and Suyan are the heart and soul. Ask for either one of them to get started on your fitness journey. Sol Fitness is the premier fitness facility at Mesa Del Sol in Albuquerque. Go for it!

Clean everything, brand new high quality equipment, THE WEIGHTS ARE ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT SPOTS, and the bathrooms are akin to those of a fancy restaurant. Small gym, but never too busy. I've never had to wait for a squat rack. Staffed by genuinely friendly and beautiful people.

The layout is very well organized and tidy, all the equipment is in great shape, and there’s a great variety of machines and equipment for lots of different exercises and variations. The people are by far the best part - staff and members alike. The owners and trainers are consistently kind and welcoming and show a level of care for their members way beyond considering them just “customers”. I’m really grateful for the experience and a gym I can call home!

Top of the line equipment, friendly/knowledgeable staff and not to mention some great trainers. I loved the atmosphere as it catered to both beginners as well as advanced gym goers. Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to the Sol Fitness Gym for 5 months. I love the atmosphere. It is a clean gym, nice new equipment, friendly and very encouraging staff. The air is filtered and cleaned by a state of the art system. Masks don’t have to be worn if you are vaccinated. The gym is very very clean and so are the restrooms & shower. Music is played in the background and some times it is quiet for those who like to read books or listen to their ear pods. The cardio machines have entertainment and one can log in and keep track of their fitness on a daily basis. Any of the eight coaches will help you with training for a fee. Victor works with me and I feel that the gym and coaching have been a life changing event that is well worth the money spent. Kathleen W

Experiencia fantástica: This is my neighborhood gym and it feels like an extension of my home. The owners and staff are all qualified trainers and are very welcoming. I love the open floor plan because that’s how most Army gyms are built. You will find everything you need at Sol Fitness!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had the pleasure of trying out the new facility located in Mesa Del Sol. I was immediately blown away by the image of the health club and the customer service of the staff. The facility is extremely clean and the equipment is top of the line. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and without hesitation showed me how to properly use some of the newer equipment I was unfamiliar with. Finding motivation to get to the gym is half the battle for me and with the accommodating and personable staff at Sol Fitness it makes very easy and appealing. Cleanliness A+ Image A+ Equipment A+ Staff A+++ 10 out of 10 I would recommend to anyone of all demographics and experience in health and fitness!
