Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would. I just called to ask about an inbody test and they proceeded to ask if I'm a member and all I said was no and the lady responded with "well we don't do that for non members, bye" I was heavily thinking of joining but didn't get the chance to say anything before she hung up. I will never spend a single dime in this establishment just by how rude, nasty, and disrespectful their staff is. If you don't like talking to people don't make it your job.

Experiencia negativa: The facility is very nice and Kyle, one of the managers, was very professional and polite. However, the director of this facility was immediately dismissive and refused to address my issue.

Experiencia fantástica: I go here for diabetes education classes, which I honestly dreaded. Turned out to be better than I thought. The educators are friendly and informative and my dietician is very welcoming and informative as well, without making me feel like crap for letting myself get this way.

Experiencia fantástica: Fairly well maintained facility. Emails are sent out when there is a facility issue or canceled class. Exercise machines are in good condition and plenty of free weights. The indoor track is great for getting steps in, or a quick run between sets, or just walking. The staff are always friendly and ready to answer questions.

Experiencia positiva: UPDATE: I took the center up on their generous offer to reach out about renewing our membership, but it’s been a week and we never heard back. I’m not sure what to make of that, but we are now too embarrassed to try again let alone go there. We are glad policies have been modified, and we stand with our opinion that it is a very nice facility. ====================== This is a very nice gym with excellent facilities. We were members for many years and especially appreciated the indoor pool, which was a highlight for me as an avid swimmer. Unfortunately, we had to resign our membership after being informed that cell phones are not permitted in the pool area. While we understand and respect the reasoning behind this policy — unfortunately, some individuals misuse phones inappropriately — our careers as a physician and a lawyer require us to remain accessible at all times, including during workouts. Ironically, my wife was on call when we were approached about the rule. As much as we enjoyed this facility, we ultimately had to find a place more compatible with the demands of our professions.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice gym. Good choice of equipment and a walking/running track. Large number of fitness trainers are available if you want or need guidance in setting up a proper fitness routine.

Today, I finally got the courage to ask and Ben was a tremendous help. He was very friendly, patient, and instructive. If I could, I’d give him more stars. Thanks Ben!

Experiencia negativa: I wasn't aware that my credit card on file expired and they weren't able to charge it. So they just let it keep racking up. They knew exactly what they were doing and I know exactly why they did it. It was during the pandemic and I hadn't even stepped foot on the property in several months and when I wanted to reinstate with a new credit card they wanted all the back penalties and monthly fees. It eventually went to a collections agency that bought the debt so they weren't going to get paid anyway. That's just total trash customer relations. Any other business would be willing to work with their members. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

Experiencia negativa: I signed up 9/28/24; canceled my membership 9/29/24. I was told I can’t get my money refunded back to my card; and that it takes them 4-6 weeks to mail/refund my $74 back. I immediately cancelled the next day because the presentation was horrible. I didn’t get a walk through of the facility. I was rushed by both team members I met. They never provided me with a copy of my contract (just took my money); and stated to me it was their job to convince me to stay and hold me accountable to be in better shape. The whole experience was awful and humiliating. Not to mention I believe they’re scamming me to avoid refunding me my money. Thanks for nothing!! I paid someone to be rude and insensitive to me.

They offer massages and personal trainers. They have a BB court, racket ball, and boxing. They have a track. They have something for everyone at any level.

Experiencia negativa: Once more I had a swim lane reserved and I was double booked with another swimmer. This is a terrible policy. NO swimmer wants to share a lane unless it's with a friend. Take a survey of your swim members if you don't believe this to be true.

Experiencia fantástica: Great spin classes. Fantastic open free weight/weightlifting area. Every time I go, people are friendly and willing to help you move heavier equipment. The mornings between 7-9 are usually slower. You’re going to hit a lot of people around 4-6 pm. Overall, it’s been a great experience. I love the weightlifting area and the saunas/steam room. Locker rooms are clean.

Super expensive for no reason never use to be this expensive everyone quit this place till it becomes sane

Experiencia negativa: I have been a member for about 3 months now and I think I can write a credible review. I love the studio rooms and bike room. I would want more machines for the money I’m paying, but it’s not bad. I gave it 2 stars because I feel like for the price your paying it should be open longer(personal want) and you should get more than 2 free guest past. I went in today and my guest didn’t have his ID to come in and they stated to me that they do background checks on all the guests that come which I think is invasive and extreme for a gym.

Them having it be required to pay an enrollment fee of 200$ or more, then if I run into hardship and have to stop my monthly payments for more than 90 measly days, I gotta enroll all over again! No thanks. Super elitist gym. Plenty of absolutely acceptable, much cheaper options in town. Go to Planet Fitness. Go to Gold's Gym. Just go for a jog each day lol. Don't give these people your hard earned money.

Experiencia fantástica: Very Nice Place To Workout At And If Your Looking For A Place For Therapy That You Need I Would Highly Recommend You Go Here I Went Here Yesterday To See What Was Going To Go On With Them And They Took My Blood Pressure And It Was Way Too High For Them To Let Me Start My Therapy On My Shoulder And Elbow Too But My Blood Pressure Was Way Too High For Them To Let Me Start And I Didn't Have A Problem With That At All And I Asked Them If They Accepted Any Walk In That Would Like To Work Out Just For The Heck Of It And I Was Told They Do But If They Would I Would Definitely Go Here For A Good Couple Of Hours For Working Out But Very Very Nice Place Inside And Very Very Clean Too And Very Good Friendly People That Work There Too I Hope They Can Help Me Out With This Shoulder Issue Pretty Soon Hopefully

Experiencia fantástica: Riverside medical center is definitely the best medical center that I've ever been to the staff are all awesome the doctors are awesome they meet the they listen to you they treat you like family there's no long waits they take your suggestions it's almost like being part of the team of your own health care it's definitely above and beyond anything that I found in the northern suburbs thank you Riverside

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place they take your money for nothing and do not work with you when you cancel. They charge a lot of money and are not helpful if you get into a difficult financial situation.

Experiencia negativa: Their policies are not accommodating for clients who are experiencing medical issues beyond exercise that needs to terminate sooner.a This happens even when your not under a contract. Also when you terminate they make you pay for a whole other month that your not going to be there. New policies need to be made.

Experiencia positiva: Aquatherapy is so easy on your joints. After my back fusion surgery in Dec 2017, the pool is wonderful, I also have Fibromyalgia, easy exercise on the achy bod.

Experiencia positiva: Nice has alot to offer but not happy that there is no more monthly kids daycare prices..i feel my kids are safe and well taken care of here but cant afford to pay $5 a hr a kid even if i went 3 times a week thats $30 a week!!! Thats $120 a month on top of my membership!! Thats crazy

Experiencia fantástica: This is the Taj Mahal of gyms in kankakee/Bradley/Bourbonnais area. Facility is spotless with steam/whirlpool/sauna in the locker rooms. Leave all your toiletries at home everything is there...mouthwash, shaving cream, cue tips, etc. Want a massage it’s here! Love the track, have a nice bunch of retirees that play racquetball in the daytime. I’m now a senior, 52.00 a month is a steal! For your health?? Couldn’t be more reasonable!

Experiencia positiva: Really expensive but you get a lot more with your membership than a typical gym. Clean. Pool was too warm for lap swimming and each bathroom stall was out of tp in the girls locker room. Not a lot of machines for the price compared to an equivalent gym. For instance I only found 2 rowing machines.

Experiencia negativa: Get a total alright physical fitness fit place. However the parking lot is very very poorly designed for handicapped people. Even the handicap spots are a distance from the building. The building sets up hill causing stress to anyone that might be handicapped or physically disabled in any capacity. Having to check in and to where you're going to the pool is a great distance even though you they have an elevator it still is a lot of walking. I think in general whoever designed it the architect or the architectural firm really didn't give thought to problems that people that are totally fit help. When I go back or join it no I would not go back or join it I was too drained by the time I left there to even consider going back there. If you like a lot of machines to walk on if you like a lot of distance between point a and point B if you don't mind parking far from a building if you don't mind walking uphill this would be the health club for you.
