Experiencia negativa: I was a member since they opened with a brief pause. I canceled my membership in September in person. I now have some dirt bag lawyer from California trying to bully $600 dollars out of me. He is demanding proof of cancellation. It is sad that after all my years of membership they are trying to shake me down. Beware of this company make sure you get proof when you cancel. You can bet the only thing I will be giving the is bad reviews

Experiencia fantástica: BEST FITNESS Albany is a fantastic gym to belong to. It is very clean and everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other. My favorite part of this gym are the classes. The different classes that are offered are so diverse and appeal to all ages. The times offered for the classes are convenient whether you want to work out morning, noon or nighttime. I love attending all the different classes and the instructors are FUN!

Experiencia fantástica: Super clean gym with all equipment in great working condition. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is motivating. This is one of three Best Fitness locations in the Capital District, and it’s very convenient, right off Fuller Road with plenty of parking.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an issue getting information from another gym about proper exercises. Connor was right on it by putting me on the schedule to see trainer Toni. She was very informative and gave me an hour of knowledge that a lot of physical therapists weren't able to provide. The gym is always clean and they have a wealth of equipment to get you fit and strong. Highly recommend this gym.

This gym was great, even during peak hours there were still tons of open machines. The employees were super helpful and friendly.

Emma is an extremely knowledgeable and compassionate trainer. She has been so much fun to work with helping me achieve my fitness goals. So many workout opportunities to choose from at both locations, and a wide variety of excellent classes - yoga, Barre, Pilates, spin - with top notch instructors. The facilities are very clean also. Management is dedicated and professional.

Now I can’t wait to go three days a week and see what new PRs I hit in my deadlifts and other weight lifting . Emma has challenged me and made me see the fun in it . I love seeing all the progress I have made and always ready to yes when she asks if I want to go heavier in the weight. Shoutout to Emma!!

I train with Emily every week and she assigns me workouts on my days when I’m not with her which keeps me accountable. The staff / trainers (Toni is the best if you want personal training and aren’t sure what you need!) are all really friendly and helpful, the gym is clean, the BFITT classes are amazing and I love the app where you can track your workouts, nutrition, etc.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away! I cancelled the membership over a year ago with an E-Mail from them showing I’ve cancelled and I still receive messages that I owe them money. I’ve tried to call them and each time they say someone will call me back and I never receive a phone call. Now today I receive a message that if I don’t pay $900.45 to them then they will take further action.

Experiencia fantástica: I usually try to go to YMCAs because of their support systems for homeless, communities, and kids in need. BUT this gym was actually pretty nice for a commercial gym. The gym worker bros were super nice and not trying to upsell, it wasn’t crowded, super clean and well maintained equipment, and a $15 day pass is a good deal in my book.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym. Been going for a little more than a year. Could use a little updating. But it has all the basics and I believe they got a new manager because they have been making little improvements lately that don't go unnoticed. One thing I can say and maybe it's because I'm a heavier guy ,240, or what but just about every other treadmill skips for me. So it will take a couple tries before I find one safe to run on. Maybe a little maintenance is needed on them.

Experiencia fantástica: Great location, great equipment, great crowd of gym goers. My only gripe is they’re incredibly cheap about the utilities. It’s routinely 78°+ in the summertime; and the staff gives weird vague answers about it ranging from “it’s broken” to “we’re waiting on the district manager to set a schedule”. Even in the Florida the gyms are cooler than that Edit - as of June 21st the AC is fixed and better than ever.

Experiencia positiva: I have been enjoying BFITT classes in Schenectady for almost a year, and after moving closer to this location their classes and instructors are just as good. I was disappointed to see that there are no later morning classes such as a 7, 8 or 9am. 5:15 is just too early and other gyms are difficult to get to in morning traffic. Please consider adding one of these classes at least just for summer break and you have 5 stars from me!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a member at this gym for a few years now. Read the contracts - they trick college students often. The machines are not the best but they get the job done. They need to update them - they are a pain to adjust. When a machine breaks it takes them mad long to fix, makes me wonder where my annual gym fee goes towards. They definitely try to trick you into spending as much money as possible and then make it impossible to cancel but every gym does that nowadays. They are also overly aggressive with their sales tactics. Been disappointed in my experience here. Staff is always on their phones, paper towels are almost always empty/broken. Some staff is rude, others are nice.

The facility is incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, and always working hard. They have a very good selection of free weights, kettlebells, and machines as well as foam rollers and bands. Plenty of squat racks and plenty of room in workout areas to do what you need to do. I definitely recommend Best to anyone over VENT Fitness.

Staff is all very nice but if you’re looking for a good trainer for problem areas (for instance, I have a tricky shoulder I need to work around), ask for Tim.

I tried to cancel my membership thinking I was paying month to month but had signed a two year agreement, something I would never have done if I had known. I tried to ask them to waive the $100 cancellation fee and they refused. I cancelled it but will now surely never go back. I feel like I scammed so just make sure you read what you're signing.

Experiencia negativa: Be.Careful.With.This.Company. I purchased a membership during my senior year (I went to a local college nearby) and CANCELLED the membership in person (because I graduated and would no longer live in the area). Today, TWO YEARS later I receive an email saying I owe 2 years worth of payments for a gym that I haven't even logged in at in almost two years nor do I even live in the area anymore. I call up the company and they say its in some sort of contract that I owe this withstanding bill and that I never actually cancelled my membership. This was an awful experience and the company runs on fine details in the contract so please beware of signing any documents with them and if you are cancelling BE SURE you do so.

I signed up thinking the lady signed me up for the college plan (as she stated she would) but when it came to canceling my membership since I graduated and was moving back home where i wouldnt need a membership anymore. I was told i had to pay a $100 fee for canceling and that i was in a contract that i didnt even know i was in! The lady told me the college plan was a non contract and i come to find that she lied and put me in a membership that she didn’t state. Now i come to find out that they sent my $100 bill to collections for an amount over $1000. Be careful when dealing with Well fitness group, they will try to drain every penny they can from broke college students. A complaint has been formed with the FTC for there mal practice and hope other speak out of there experience and file a complaint against these crooks!
