Experiencia negativa: WORST CRUNCH IN AMERICA. Couldn’t recommend this place less. Cancelled my membership in person, kept charging my card despite cancelling and moving out of state. Claimed to have taken care of it, only for them to start charging my card again months later. They’ve told me to come in person, write a letter (? What) and have a friend come in and cancel for me if I was out of state. Have done all three, including having a friend cancel on my behalf, with a written termination letter from me, whilst I was on the phone. Thought we were done with the back and forth but nonetheless, 2 years later, I caught a recurring charge for the last 3 months. I’ve lived in Florida the last 2 years and have been a member of Eos. Was told they would follow up with me Thursday, Friday, and today, Saturday (2/14). I’ve called each day, and including today in which they hung up my call while it was ringing (twice). What are we doing here? Like seriously, when we show up to work, what are we doing? So unethical, so lazy. Never join this chain, especially this location

Experiencia positiva: Nice place but good lord it’s crowded. Can’t hardly find plates to use sometimes, and people standing around waiting on machines and benches. Lots of people playing on their phone rather than actually working out. That’s probably everywhere these days though.

Experiencia negativa: Never know when I show up to start my day with a workout if the gym doors will be opened or not. It's frustrating that I pay for a membership which comes out of my account each month and I never know if I'll be able to workout before work. The gym is currently not open at 6:22 am Monday morning.

The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, and as a great variety of every kind of workout, whether you are lifting, doing cardio, or taking classes. The atmosphere are super welcoming, and makes a difference. Out to the MSR’s Rylee and Leiloni they are both fantastic. They’re always friendly, professional, and out of their way to make them feel comfortable and supported, they answer questions with a smile and genuinely care about helping everyone to have a great experience.

Experiencia negativa: Yall took $244.99 out of my bank this morning… why… also on my recent payment history it says declined for a reason. Because I blocked yall from taking any more money out cause I don’t remember signing up for auto payments. I stay away from auto payments and y’all won’t allow us to cancel our memberships over the phone. And other thing. On my recent payment history it shows $169.95 which is still weird. I have pictures that I will post. I want my money back in my bank account and I want y’all to cancel my membership.

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely clean facility. Love how welcoming and hard working the staff is. They always try their hardest to keep all machines up and running or fix them if there’s anything wrong.

Experiencia negativa: Very unclean facility, bathrooms and locker room are always disgusting. Most things end up broken and stay that way for months. Dont even have toilet paper in bathrooms most of time or toilets are out of order. You get what you pay for which is why membership is so cheap. Staff is nice, but they use the facility pretending they should have priority to machines even though its a public gym.

Seth was a delight in getting me set up with my membership and understanding the benefits of my membership! I was so shock by the affordability of the membership and everything it included. So excited to have joined the crunch fam in Alabaster!

I'm so impressed with their equipment and how clean they maintain their facility. Also their staff has been super helpful, especially CJ in navigating what membership would be best suited for me as a new gym girl. Can't wait to see the gains!

Experiencia fantástica: Yesterday was my first time at the Crunch Fitness in Alabaster and I definitely will be returning. The man at the front desk, CJ, was very welcoming and acted like he actually cared. I was very amused when he called me ma'am and his smile truly just brightened my whole day as I went up to the desk after my workout and tanned in their very clean beds. The gym itself was very clean compared the Crunch Fitness in Tuscaloosa. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Experiencia positiva: Staff is friendly and helpful, decent variety of equipment, and atmosphere is generally welcoming. However, much of the equipment appears to be old, with tears in padding on benches and much of the equipment severely needing to be lubricated. Very creaky. There are also very few paper towel and spray stations, and those that they do have are located very far apart, so it is not really set up to encourage people to wipe down equipment after use. As a result, most people don’t. Hand soap in ladies bathroom has been out the past two weeks, since I started attending this gym. Overall, decent gym but definitely could stand some TLC.

Might be time to lock the audio down to a more customer friendly environment instead of what the employees at the front desk want to hear. Mumble rap and whatever else that is might be fine for the club, but not a diverse gym environment.
