Experiencia fantástica: While generally businesses in Ahoskie harbor a ‘good enough to pass inspection’ standard, this 24 hour health and fitness center soars above standards. - Pros - 24 hour access with free membership FOB. - Clean, current, well-functioning equipment. - Full professional staffing from 6AM - 7PM weekdays. - plenty of cleaning wipes for machines and clientele are very good about cleaning up after themselves. - Generously equipped cardio areas with plenty of machines. - Very good array of resistance and weight training material and equipment. - Very clean restrooms and locker rooms with private changing areas. - Spotless Sauna. - Surgically clean shower areas. - Cons - Free weight area can get a little full during the busy hours 6-8 AM and 5-7 PM, but is manageable. - Parking lot lighting could be better at night. - Areas for ‘floor work’ in the free weight area is a bit constraining at times. - No CrossFit area in main workout room. Overall, for the city and area, this fitness center is a cut above and would be highly recommended for general physical fitness. Bodybuilders may be better suited at another facility. This center would also be a good family fitness center as it features a smaller (but adequate) pool, outdoor basketball courts, and plenty of specialty rooms for mixed use. Well done!

Experiencia fantástica: Only gym in town but it does a great job to accommodate the needs for a good workout. Learned on my most recent visit home that the gym is currently closed due to covid

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the cleanest places. As well as friendly. Looking for to the 8 week workouts. I especially like the pool for water aquatics.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is an excellent part of the community. My baby sister was able to take swimming lessons here so she could learn how to swim for an affordable price. She loved every second of it! Everything here is clean, orderly, organized not to mention how incredibly helpful and kind the staff is! Vidant Wellness Center, is really indeed a center of wellness for the community.

Experiencia fantástica: I need the exersize. I enjoy the bike a hour most weekdays if i am home and able to go.I EVEN LOSE SOME .WEIGHT DOING IT THEY TOLD ME I WOULDN'T be cause of my age.

Experiencia positiva: I like that the facility is always clean and has a pool. They also offer classes and swimming lessons. I just use the gym for now. The trainer that helps me, Trae, is very nice and knowledge in his field. The tour was also very helpful. I use the monthly membership that you can pay once per month, but there are other options. There are also guest passes you can buy if you want to try the facility. So far I am very pleased.

Experiencia positiva: Great place to workout good cardio equiptment, friendly staff, nice selection of classes, could use longer hours especially on weekends overall really nice up grade to the Hertford County area.

Experiencia negativa: I had a 1:00 pm appointment with Danita. I waited 30 minutes and never saw anyone so I left. The service was horrible. Instead of letting me see someone else they took a 1:30 at 1: 10 pm while I had to wait. I plan to make an official written compliant as well.
