Experiencia positiva: Nice gym facilities, but i feel like some of the equipment was not accessible. As a 5’6” person I couldn’t use the bench press because my feet don’t touch the ground. I know that there are other bench manufacturers that make lower benches, I it’s never been a problem at a gym besides Redwater.

Experiencia positiva: I started going to RedWater Fitness Watermark when I had issues with another gym membership this past spring. While it was meant to temporary, I have thoroughly enjoyed my membership. I love the location and overlooking the golf course. If you get here early enough in the morning, there is a beautiful view of the sunrise. There is plenty of free weights, two squat racks, a smith machine, a cable machine, cardio equipment, and two rooms for spinning and HIIT exercises. Occasionally, the gym has been a busy when I have been there but most of the time, it is either completely empty or only has about 5 people max, including myself. The gym has cubbies by the front door and water fountain as well as a full locker room and showers. Out of all the gyms I have been to, it is by far the best. The only reason I am knocking down a star is the availability of machines. There are about ten of them, split evenly between upper and lower body. The weights are not always consistent and can be limited to those who are more advanced in their weight training journey. I do wish that more gyms would get a real leg press or a hack squat rather than a horizontal leg press to get more of a quad workout. Overall, it has been a great experience to be a member at this gym!

Great members too. *EDIT* 12/14/24 - There’s a problem with kids coming in here and using the bench/squat cages for dumbbell presses, dumbbell curls and dumbbell rows. This shows severe lack of gym etiquette and IQ. I hope those members see this.

Experiencia negativa: Customer service and follow up at this location needs some work. The manager here doesn’t seem to answer emails.

Experiencia positiva: A lot of equipment and tons of room. Only complaint is that some of the machines that they have seen extremely inaccurate for the weights. I would struggle like heck to do some of the weights on fly machine and at this gym I could do it like it was 20 pounds.

Experiencia negativa: Sorry I can't comment on this gym, I called to see if they had a pool, they did not. My doctor recommended swimming for exorcise.

Experiencia positiva: The gym is well maintained and has a large variety of equipment. I loved that it is open 24/7. To get a card to unlock the door the first time you need to come in while there is a person at the front desk. Those hours tend to be during the day when I'm working. The one thing that bothered me is that when I canceled my membership in January they said that they will bill me for February. Apparently it is in the fine print.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member of Snap Fitness for 4+ years now ... I used to go to the Knapps Corner location , and I'm almost glad they closed down so we could move to this spot ! The facility is brand new , there's excellent natural lighting in the gym , a view of the driving range on one side , and the swimming pools on the other. There's plenty of equipment and free weights to use , 1 squat rack , and 1 Smith machine ... even when it's at it's busiest times , you can almost always have the equipment you need available. The locker room (Men) is a serious upgrade from any locker room I've ever seen @ Snap Fitness ... they have 2 showers , and plenty of lockers for use , with 2 separate mirrors / sinks , with excellent lighting for getting ready / taking selfies ... they're normally very clean and taken care of as well. Sarah is always very cheerful and she's nice to talk to as well ... she's knowledgable about fitness and dieting , and she's personable as well ! I love this location and I believe it's definitely worth the membership for 24/7 access !

Experiencia negativa: Incompetent staff that does not follow-up properly. I cancelled my membership on March 13th, and was informed everything would be processed within in 30 days. I knew I would be billed in April but was surprised by an additional charge that was then explained to me as being a "gym maintenance fee". OK fine, not happy, but I expect BS from this from big box gyms, hidden fees come with their 'experiences'. I even went into the gym and discussed this with the girl that is occasionally there, that vacuums and mops during the normal lunch time hours. I was once again reassured, my account would be cancelled by the middle of the month, and very nice sounding girl on the phone said if there was any options either her or her manager would follow-up within a day or two, and if I didn't hear anything, all is well. Well, I didn't hear anything. All is well, right? NOPE! May 1st, another month was taken out of my checking. When I call in I am told they will work on it and I will be reimbursed. Get a phone call a few hours later, only to be told, because I worked out at another Snap Fitness, that I need to cancel there, even though I opened my account at Cascade in August... So here I am, hit with another month's bill, and when calling the other gym told I need to wait ANOTHER 30 days!!! so that's going to be an addition $80 on top of the BS 'gym maintenance fee' SNAP steals from me... love it. Applaud your capitalism and sneaky ways to cheat and lie to your "valued" members. I would advise anyone to stay far away. I have been members of several gyms: Fitness 19 and Cardinal Fitness in the Chicago and St Louis areas, Rock Hard Fitness and Youfit gyms in the Atlanta area, as well as several park district gyms. I typically hold memberships at a few gyms at one time due to travel or to meet the needs of my work schedule, and I have NEVER dealt with this level of thievery.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome gym very clean, and up to date. I love the fact that I can watch Netflix or listen to spotify on the high tech treadmill. Very clean weights, and other various equipment. I Highly recommend this gym!

Experiencia fantástica: The best Snap Fitness in the Grand Rapids area. The equipment options, cleanliness and availability, and friendliness of the staff,set it above all of the others. The showers/locker room area can get a little crowded at times.

Experiencia fantástica: I can work out any day or time I like, and my gym here on Cascade Road has everything I need regardless of the type of workout I'm doing.

Experiencia fantástica: April Snow, the manager at this location is amazing. When you walk in you're greeted with a smile and a "how's your week going". Recently booked 12 personal trainings with her and she is awesome. The facility is always spotless including restrooms and changing areas! Facility has ample cardio, weights and even and Olympic lifting platform!

Experiencia fantástica: Snap Fitness Cascade is great! The staff (April, Jordan, etc.) are very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. Having worked out at several other Snap Fitness's while traveling, this one is my favorite: plenty of space, good layout of equipment, and almost never a wait for equipment or weights.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent gym! You can't beat the location. There is a great deal of natural light because of the many windows, and because of its location tucked along a golf course you don't have passersby staring in at you. The equipment layout is spot on and everything is immaculate. Bathrooms are remarkably clean. Would recommend this gym to anyone.

They offer different events and classes too so you can take your health and fitness as seriously as you want. Being open 24 hours is nice too so I can workout on my own schedule.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is always friendly and polite everybody's helpful the gym is extremely clean and very user friendly. The manager was knowledgeable and she knew just the right exercise for my physical fitness goals, also she was helpful in recommending which machines I shouldn't use for my current physical injuries. The other members are supportive and friendly too. The location is convenient and the Cork restaurant is a great place to meet after your workout. Whether you're traveling or a local this is a great place to work out. Been to other Snaps in and out of town never seen one put together this well and the manager was more knowledgeable than gyms five times its size.
