I’ve recently moved to a different state and needed to break my contract with them. I was told that it was a valid reason but for some reason today I’m recently finding out that I have a collection bill from them. Blew up their phone several times seems like they didn’t close my account properly. This has majorly affected my credit score. highly unprofessional

Gym is as clean as a whistle with really nice variety of equipment. Have not really interacted with staff yet but facilities are wonderful!!!

Experiencia negativa: Today makes my 2 years membership at ATF. The reason I joined this facility was because they offered yoga classes and several months ago added silver sneakers. These classes are included with the membership. I just found out today, they are going to start charging for the yoga classes. I pay $12 for Mondays SGC 4x a month. So I pay $76 a month ($28 membership out of pocket my share from my insurance +$48 for 4 SGC) Now they want $188 a month ($28 Active &Fit + $160 -4 class a week x4 weeks- that’s $120 for yoga. This is in addition to what my insurance pays the gym direct. Not pleased with this addl cost increase. I will not attend any more yoga classes- I just can’t add $120 a month- I might as well go back to a CrossFit gym for that cost.

Experiencia negativa: I've come to this location three times in the last week during the posted office hour to get my key fob re-registered and no staff has been on site. It's been difficult trying to get a hold of anyone at this location.

Experiencia negativa: Was a great gym… apparently thankful solely to one really passionate gym rat manager… she gone and now they’ve raised the price to use poorly maintained equipment. I don’t understand the logic as passionate gym goers have had to pick up the slack to address plumbing issues that have been neglected for 6 mnths or 45 lb straight bar locks being lose after revolving employees informed to follow suite of the owners to also neglect creating safety concerns. The new owners seem to want to automate the gym which is great until you’re finding regular spots to kick a pile of dead roaches during the raining season wandering how long until someone moves the pile. Such a shame it was a lovely little gym …. I miss the studio it was lovely when it was cleaned.

Cleanliness of the facility is a priority, whenever I go they are wiping down wall, equipment, bathrooms etc. They are always attending to the upkeep of the area. As other reviewers stated the atmosphere in and around the gym is very positive and I can only attribute that to starting at the top. I would highly recommend Anytime Fitness and urge anyone within the Moore County vicinity to visit the Southern Pines Location. Weather you are visiting the area or a resident, the facility will meet and exceed your expectations.

We both were thrilled when we located a small gym which had everything we were looking to find (machines, classes, cleanliness, & an accommodating staff). This facility fits the bill. It is always clean and the staff is super friendly, helpful and ready to assist with whatever our need might be. Thus far, we are very pleased w/our decision to become a member at this facility.

Experiencia negativa: For those visiting I would recommend TruFit instead. This gym (Anytime Fitness) has horrible staffed hours, options for those who are not members and paying for day passes AND is more like a planet fitness. If you’re more advanced as a lifter, go elsewhere. If you have the USAA active & fit plan you can use other gyms as well. Went there today with a group of friends who are visiting the area. They regretted signing up for a month immediately.

Experiencia fantástica: This gym is one of my favorites gyms I have ever used. The staff go out of their way every time to be incredibly friendly and helpful. They always greet you as you walk in, and are willing to help in any way they can. They maintain the equipment extremely well, and keep the gym clean at all times! If something breaks, they always take care of it as quickly as possible! Being a member there allows 24/7 access, so on days I'm working weird hours I can always go in there and get a great workout! It's almost never crowded, and if it is I usually don't have to wait too long. I have been going to this gym for about a year, and will continue to use it as long as I can!

The fact that I get to use my key fob all over the country is a huge bonus, but really it is the owners that make this location special. It is obvious that they work incredibly hard to make this one of the cleanest and best equipped gyms I've ever been too. The equipment is clean, the weights are abundant, it is never too crowded, and technology is outstanding. The cardio machines are all seemingly new (and get upgraded regularly), the functional fitness area is great, and the yoga studio is highly recommended. The staff is wonderfully helpful, and I've even used the personal training services. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a difficult time finding a good gym when I moved to this area (signed up for one initially and it was NOT a good experience), and have always been hesitant to join a commercialized facility. I'm mostly a runner but was looking for a clean, friendly facility with good functioning equipment and nice staff and that is exactly what I found at Anytime Fitness in Southern Pines! I've been more than happy with the cleanliness of the gym, how friendly the staff are, and with how well functioning they keep the equipment (especially cardio machines and treadmills). It's never too crowded and everyone who works out here is very respectful. I am so glad I found this gym and am now part of the Anytime Fitness group in Southern Pines!

During covid, the machines are sterilized after each use, observed. I found those with memberships are courteous and do not monopolize equipment. Give them a try, I did, could not be more pleased. I had one-on-one training with Denise and she is fantastic! She listens to your limitations and works around any ailments you may have going on at the time. I love taking their fitness classes and everyone in the class is so friendly. You need to be a member here!

Gym patrons all have varying fitness levels so it never seems intimidating or like a scene. Because of my health insurance we also have a gym membership with a competitor across town and I MUCH prefer coming to Anytime Fitness (and this would be absolutely be our only gym if they offered childcare).

It essentially has all the equipment you need for improving your overall fitness ranging from free weights, strength machines, cardio, and group exercise classes. The staff at this location in particular are very courteous and the bathrooms are private so you can shower, change, and utilize the restroom in private. It is also one of the cleanest gyms in the area in regards to housekeeping which is very nice.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! I walk in the door and get a friendly “Hi Carol”. The staff is great with a good variety of classes and times. The place is clean, and the equipment modern and well maintained. There are times when I just don’t want to work out but because of Denise, Lauren and Jess (the trainers), I rarely miss a class! I’ve been a member of a lot of different gyms and haven’t felt that way at other places.

This is the first gym I have actually seen the owners getting in workouts, interacting with guests, and even throwing out fitness challenges over social media! I didn't realize until recently during a business trip to Tennessee that all Anytime Fitness facilities are NOT created equal. I quickly realized exactly how much hard work and dedication the owners and staff put into this facility. While I have always appreciated how clean and well kept the gym is it took being away from home and visiting another Anytime Fitness to truly understand how much they care about their members and facility. I still appreciate the fact that I can travel and access a gym at "anytime" but it felt good to come home to a far more superior gym. Thanks guys for all of your hard work! This is just a note to let you know that it does not go un-noticed.
