CrossFit^® Albemarle

Fantastic experience: I just completed my second week at CrossFit Albemarle. As a 60 year old, I know I need functional fitness but it’s intimidating to get started. From the very first day, the coaches made me feel comfortable with modifications based on my needs. Kelly Harrington has been great at helping me get started and introducing me around the group. Her instructor skills are stellar. Yesterday’s class was coached by Bradley Harrington. He helped me modify a movement due to a wrist injury and I still got an amazing workout! Bonnie assisted with this class and she continued to offer encouragement and technique help. Tripp coached one of the sessions last week and it was a hard session. Without making me feel singled out, he helped me modify to a level better suited to my beginner status. Lauren has been a wonderful and supportive coach as well. There are other coaches that I’ve not met yet but I’m sure they are as amazing as the ones I’ve encountered thus far. I’m looking forward to week 3 next week! Thanks xfit team Albemarle!!!!

Fantastic experience: I recently dropped in for a week of workouts. Kelly and the rest of the CFA coaches were absolutely incredible. Their programming was strong, facilities had ever piece of CF equipment you could think of, and membership was extremely welcoming. I have been doing crossfit for 11 years and cannot recommend this gym enough. Thank you Kelly and CFA community, I hope to see you again soon!

Fantastic experience: Love the place

Fantastic experience: CrossFit Albemarle is for everyone who wants to get more fit and is willing to put in the effort. The workouts are modified as needed to accommodate the needs of each individual. The facility is always clean and there is plenty of space to work out and move. I started CrossFit thinking that I would improve my fitness. Not only am I fitter than I have ever been, I also have an amazing community of supportive people to encourage me and help me achieve my goals. The instruction and care I received at CFA inspired me to become a coach myself.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I just moved to the area and were invited by our neighbors to try out CrossFit Albemarle. We thought it was going to be just another gym. Boy, were we wrong! Our BoneFit class has become family and our coaches are helping us reach our fitness goals. This is not just another gym, it is a place where everyone is welcome, no matter your fitness level. Come try it out… I guarantee you will be hooked!

Fantastic experience: CFA has been a life changer for me. The programed workouts are always explained and coached with superb knowledge and skill and I get individual coaching every workout. I have made great friends and learned new skills and gained muscle and stamina and grit. I joined at age 51 and plan to stay for a lifetime of longevity and health.

Fantastic experience: I dropped into CrossFit Albemarle on a Saturday while I was in town and wow! Kelly was so welcoming and helpful and made me feel right at home. The gym is amazing with top of the line equipment. Going into a new gym can be very intimidating but everyone was so kind and came and introduced themselves to me. I would highly recommend CrossFit Albemarle to anyone looking for a great CrossFit gym to join or drop in with while in town!

Fantastic experience: CrossFit Albemarle is not only an amazing clean facility but the coaches are well educated and caring. All classes are coach lead, offering immediate feedback. I joined 3 years ago and my whole family participates, from the adult classes to kids CrossFit! CrossFit Albemarle is more than a gym it’s a family and they prove they care with programs for kids, older adults (Bonefit), average athletes and even the RX athlete! They also offer personal training and nutrition programs to promote whole health.

Fantastic experience: It's been a while since I visited here, and unfortunately I live too far away to join. But I can tell you that Kelly is an amazing trainer - very professional, personable and knows her stuff! She is great with both adults and children. You can't go wrong with this organization.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t realize how much I missed being a collegiate athlete until I was no longer that. I didn’t realize how much I needed to be apart of a team until I joined CrossFit Albemarle . CrossFit has filled the void of daily accountability, training ,and the push I need in my life to drive me to be better!!! My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience: What a great place to workout! Staff is well versed in all forms from gymnastics to powerlifting. Very happy to answer questions about anything including nutrition. Clean gym and bathrooms.
