CrossFit^® Aiken

Fantastic experience: All I can say is, if you're thinking about going - GO! I had tried a Crossfit previously up in Boston and had a terrible experience - was told to lift too much weight at my trial class, really every exercise I did at that trial class was unsafe for a beginner. I could barely walk for a week. It terrified me. Needless to say I didn't go back. I knew about Crossfit - I didn't need to be shown how bad ass it was, how intense the work outs were, how sore I would be. But I had heard such good things and seen such good results that I knew I wanted to try it again. I truly believe the trainers should follow the model Brent does, and that's why I will recommend him and his gym to anyone, no matter age or fitness. Brent won't let you use weight when you first start - you'll use your own body weight, you'll learn all the moves, slowly, understand the movements, the correct form. The On Ramp is really a great idea, and Brent does an incredible job coaching. I can't say enough good things. Crossfit is expensive, but that's because it works and you always have a coach. So do it!

Fantastic experience: As a person who travels a lot and doesc CrossFit, I look for boxes that truly have something great to offer in the sense that the coach or coaches should be able to teach me something new/make me better. I have been doing CF for about 5 years now, and am a certified Level 1 trainer with both CrossFit and USA Weightlifting. To say I am picky is an understatement. Brent, who owns the place is a National Weightlifting coach with gobs of knowledge, and I learned more from him in three days about the olympic lifts and mobility than I have in a long time. I wish I could package up the experience and take it home with me.

Fantastic experience: Great group of people, everyone is friendly and no judgment is passed. All of the trainers are extremely helpful and attentive and will not let you do more than you can handle, couldn't ask for a better example of how CrossFit is supposed to be.

Fantastic experience: Well.... I can't give a review of CA because I've never been here...but I can say that I wish there were more places like this in the area that gave the customer access to bumper plates, power racks, and real gym equipment (and actually let them do the real lifts). If CA ever decides to come down on their ridiculous prices, I'll be the first guy to sign up.

Fantastic experience: Nice space ..ton of room, clean, all the equipment you would need. Very cool too...they offer boxing classes so some cool equipment around if you want to change it up.

Fantastic experience: CrossFit Aiken is among the best gyms I've ever visited. I've encountered some of the friendliest people here. The atmosphere fosters a family-oriented environment that I wouldn't trade for anything. Brent and all the other trainers genuinely care about your well-being and prioritize your safety. I would wholeheartedly recommend this gym with a 10/10 rating.

Their fundamentals class focuses on the beginner and teaches proper form while taking into account each individual's physical abilities. From the guided warmup to each exercise, the individual is their main focus. Brent the main coach and owner is one of the must knowledgeable and consistent coaches I've worked with. The gym is by far the cleanest and one of the larger well equipped gyms I've been too as well.
