Fantastic experience: Sifu Rick is an exceptional teacher and creates such a fun and motivating environment for learning, his love and skill are evident in every class and our son absolutely adores it. We especially appreciate the attention he gives to teaching how the discipline of martial arts translates into everyday life for the kids. We love the class and definitely recommend, it's wonderful.

Fantastic experience: We knew from the very beginning that signing up our son at Family Martial Arts Academy was the right decision. Sifu Rick immediately helped my son, who has no prior experience with martial arts, feel welcome and empowered to excel. Not just with his martial arts skills, but with life skills as well. There is strong emphasis for students to be focused, have respect, and work hard in a positive and supportive environment. There is lots of individual attention with each student and with clear communication. Our son LOVES his martial arts classes!

Rick is an amazing coach with the most positive outlook on life. He has taught my son more than just martial arts. He has shown him perseverance and how to conduct himself. My son is always excited about going to martial arts and he is now helping with the younger kids and absolutely loves it. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Family Martial Arts, Sifu Rick and his wonderful team. There really is something for the whole family. I’ve done the kickboxing there for years, my husband did BJJ and my three children have had birthday parties, nerf battles and more there; and they’ve been students at FMA for 5 years. My kids are learning really great MMA techniques in a positive, fun and safe environment from one of the best. My favorite thing, however, is that Sifu and his teachers really talk to the kids about how the skills and values they are learning in class translate to life. He really takes pride in helping bring up not just good martial artists but really solid members of our community. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves going to class at Family Martial Arts. She says it is challenging, fun and provides great exercise. As a parent, I see that my daughter is more disciplined and focuses in class. I like that Sifu Rick is positive and encouraging towards the kids. He ties his lessons into real life, like listening the first time and cleaning up. He holds kids accountable for their behavior (in a kind and positive way). His classes are fast paced and keeps kids engaged. I have recommended Family Martial Arts to many of my friends. Great place!
