Fantastic experience: Matt and Kim have created a great, local gym for Bellingham fitness enthusiasts to call home. They are both very knowledgeable and want to put the best product on the floor to service their clients. The gym has a great layout, a lot of state of the art equipment, suitable amenities for any gym patron and a great vibe of inclusion. Matt's very knowledgeable and passionate about the body and learning. Kim has great energy, and excellent skills as a coach & exercise programmer. Iron Mountain S&C offers a few group classes, with a fun atmosphere, and 1-on-1 training, small group training sessions and an open gym option for your own training needs. If you're just starting out, cross-training for your sport, or looking to further your PB's in the weightroom - you'll find that Iron Mountain S&C is one of the top training locations in Bellingham. Fantastic experience: Matt and Kim of Iron Mountain Strength and Conditioning are some of the best at what they do! I have been training with Matt twice a week consistently since May of 2021 and have seen an incredible transformation in myself during that time. Not only has my strength increased dramatically, my posture, my diet, my mood and capacity for work, endurance, physique have all been ‘lifted’. Matt’s approach is very holistic and he tunes his individualized program for me based on how my body is feeling that day or if I’m dealing with any pain or injuries. I have a shoulder injury and knee pain and he has patiently worked with me on changing my program so as to strength the areas surrounding the pain center without aggravating it. With Matt’s expert knowledge he’s able to quickly adapt the plan to fit my particular needs. I trust Matt entirely in this arena and he has more than proven that he truly cares about me and my well being. Not only in physical health but also we have become good friends in the time that I’ve spent training here as he doesn’t take himself too seriously and the training environment is always relaxed and fun. I honestly just feel like I’m coming to hang out and lift with a friend every time I come in, and it’s a nice reprieve from the stresses of daily personal and work life. I used to have a regular gym membership and have since completely cancelled it in preference of just working exclusively with Matt at Iron Mountain. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in the past year or so and in turn has inspired me to pursue other hobbies in kayaking, camping, and martial arts as well now that I know I am strong and my body is capable of more. I am 33 years old and instead of letting my age define how I feel I feel incredibly empowered and stronger than ever before thanks to choosing Matt and his team. Thanks Matt and Kim!! ????????
Fantastic experience: I love my personal training at Iron Mountain!! Matt is the best, not only funny but extremely educated when it comes to how the body works! I’ve learned a ton and am seeing amazing results! I love the private clean feel of the gym vs crowded gyms. I highly highly recommend Iron Mountain!!
Fantastic experience: Top-notch facility and trainers! I've been going to Iron Mountain, which is owned by a wonderful couple (Matt and Kim), for a few months, first for personal training sessions and then for their small group strength and conditioning classes (all reasonably priced). It's private, so it's never crowded, and you get a lot of personal attention. The gym is conveniently located, huge, modern, and comfortable, with a vast array of equipment and a great sound system. Kim is endlessly fun, engaging, energetic, and encouraging, and she has a huge repertoire of exercises in her brain that she can adjust as needed for people with physical issues such as bad knees. My strength and balance have improved dramatically, and I am hooked!
