Shine Fitness Studio

Fantastic experience: We did a beginner level chair class for a birthday party and it was so fun! Our instructor had a great attitude and did a good job walking us through the steps. She was also very body positive for all our shapes and sizes, and made sure we all felt comfortable. I would definitely book with Shine again!

Positive experience: I came here because my home studio was closed for a couple weeks, utilizing their 2 week for $80 promotion. If you don't want to get into this whole review, I will summarize by saying the studio has a white soccer mom energy, which is not a vibe that I find super welcoming. Lets start with what I loved. They have so many items available to borrow durng class, truly anything you could need is there down to ginger candies in case you get motion sick. The instructor, Mo who taught my hammock class was excellent friendly warm and welcoming if you can get a class with her do it! However of the 3 classes I took only one was actually taught by the scheduled instructor, so keep that in mind. The pole class I took was, in my opinion more of a boot camp. I barely touched the pole due partially to the fact that they book classes so that there are 2 people to each apparatus, so you don't get a chance to practice at will as I am accustomed. Also you're constantly wiping your partners sweat, deodorant, etc. off the pole before you can use it. A majority of the pole class was just a workout, during which we were forced to listen to not 1 Paris Hilton song, but the whole dang album. Who does that? The class was also forced to stop at several intervals for her to yell at everyone about what she didn't want to see. We're all old enough to comprehend your explanation say it once, say its important and move on. I don't want to repeat rules out loud with you like a child. Lastly when I stopped coming and my pass had run out I was called by them incessantly, until I answered and told them I am not interested in returning and to take me off the list. Stop trying to hard sell people, offer a better product.

Fantastic experience: I loved my class here! I came in from out of town and took my boyfriend to try a class with me. I was so scared but everyone was so nice and encouraging. We took a hoop class with Eré and she helped me get into the hoop for the first time! I was so tired and sore the next day. It was such a good fun work out! They even called me later to check how my experience was. If I lived closer I’d come more often. Can’t wait to come back and try a pole class.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Shine for a little over a year now. I can say that it is one of the most welcoming and encouraging environments. The instructors teach to each individual level, they provide constructive feedback, and the ladies that take class alongside me are just as wonderful to be around.

Fantastic experience: All the instructors at Shine are so amazing! They really focus on positivity, safety, and having fun. Rachel does such an amazing job at explaining every move in detail and how it’s supposed to feel when it’s being done! The community here is also great. Everyone is so supportive of each other and so welcoming to beginners who are just starting out.
