Axistence: Training for a Life of Adventure: Opinions
Fantastic experience: This is the most amazing gym I've ever been to! I hope more and more gyms follow their lead (or that they open more locations). Their workouts are fun and functional which is awesome, but they really standout by actually offering opportunities to apply your fitness with outings like hiking 14ers, climbing outside, skiing/snowboarding, and all kinds of other adventures. It makes you feel like you're really working towards something in the gym, and their workouts really do prepare you for all of those things. It also creates an amazing sense of community! Everyone is so supportive there and really just wants to see everyone do well.
Fantastic experience: I've worked out at a lot of gyms, and Axistence is at the top of all of them. Coach/owner who cares about all the members. I found this gym on March 13, 2019..the day the world shut down for the pandemic, and I did not attend any classes until June...I was so grateful for all of the COVID precautions at the time. Great coaches, great people!
Fantastic experience: This is an exceptional business full of great coaches and members. I joined Axistence in January 2020, which meant I had just a few "normal" months before COVID restrictions set in. I joined with a lot of running experience but little formal strength training. From the first day, Ryan, Dan, and the other coaches made every effort to provide me with detailed, useful feedback to improve. As a result, I've made huge strides in my form and movement, allowing me to progress more quickly than I'd expected. I was also impressed with how hard the Axistence team worked to accommodate various needs during COVID restrictions; it was a good window into how much thought and intention they put in to create tailored programming that helps everyone meet his/her/their individual goals. Lastly, I'll note that the other members have been a great source of community, support, and humor when there wasn't much of those things going around! Kudos, y'all.
Fantastic experience: I have been part of the Axistence community for almost 2 years and it has been the BEST match for my fitness goals. The coaches have extensive training that puts their credentials and ability to help their clients way beyond the typically gym trainer. This community is full of real people, with real jobs, and real ambition - no meat heads and no body shaming. Their philosophy is all about getting your body in the best shape for an adventurous life AND for your individual health goals.
Fantastic experience: I joined this gym about a month ago and have LOVED it so far. The trainers are great and very personable. The unique thing about this gym is they train you to be active and able in the outdoors. They do nearly weekly outdoor activities that you can participate in.
