Richmond Family YMCA/Excel Center

Positive experience: I have to say that some of the more mature staff are ok but we did have kids puke during a Saturday basketball game and after informing a staff member nothing was done. I do wish there was a pool and 24 hour access for the work out facilities. The YCARE program is great for after school care.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The staff is great and it's very family oriented. Great place to work out because it's not overwhelming like some gyms. Smaller and more personable.

Fantastic experience: I love it. I've been training at the gym, any gym really (home included), for at least 3 years now and I've never had results like these. The staff are all great and there is always someone to greet you when you walk in! :)

Fantastic experience: The YMCA has a wonderful new facility at 1215 S J Street in the old C.R. Richardson school building. Google has yet to update the address but it has changed, it is no longer located on Chester Blvd!
