Fantastic experience: We have visited this YMCA throughout the last 15 years and the facilities have always been very well kept. The restrooms have always been clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and remember us even when there is a gap in visits. Keep up the great work! Will be back for more competitions!

Positive experience: Seems to be more basketball oriented than anything. I really like that they have a sauna and steam room but one of the two indoor basketball courts should really be an indoor pool like they have in the YMCA to the north. As it is the pool is only open from May thru August. That's 8 months of no pool in Vegas. No Bueno

Positive experience: Our experiences at this particular YMCA have been satisfactory; my kids love the instructors and the summer camp is great. We also enjoy parents night out occasionally. My daughter attended the pre-k program with some of the best, loving, and patient teachers I have ever encountered. However, I had an extremely negative experience recently that supersedes any positive interaction I’ve had. I had been receiving phone calls from an 800 number for weeks, and today, while at work, I happened to get one of these calls. I picked up, and was informed that I owed money to the YMCA of Southern Nevada. I have never had payment issues prior to this, so I was confused as to why I was being contacted, let alone on my job. I logged into my dasko account to see that I had a $40 balance from a card not being updated post expiration. The YMCA could have simply emailed me at time of incident, stating the issue, and I would have gladly paid, just as I had done for the 30 previous on time payments on my membership. This has left a sour taste in my mouth, which is why I will be cancelling my membership. I was called by a creditor on my job, for a bill I had always paid on time. Unbelievable. I had plans to rent the pool space for my children’s school, and I am very happy that I didn’t sign contract yet.

Fantastic experience: Best family gym ever! First they have many family events such as Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas. The pool has an adult slide, kids slide and much much more. Bigger kids can exercise in the gym equipment area with adult supervision. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like family. I highly recommend YMCA especially if you have kids. There are many sports, education and other learning programs for adults and kids. Don't forget Parents Night Out!
