Rochester Recreation Center

Positive experience: My son (5) has swimming lessons here. Swimming lessons have been so great. However, there is no family changing room and the rules do not allow him into the women's locker room. So I have to send him alone into the men's' locker room and I obviously cannot go with him. This is just dangerous. Predators are lurking everywhere and I feel so panicky every time he has to go change by himself. Children should be able to have a parent with them!

Fantastic experience: Went there for a rained out Walk MS event, and the sounds of hockey and families enjoying themselves were everywhere. The side areas were spacious, and the rink and seating area was absolutely massive. Would love to go see a game there sometime!

Fantastic experience: I love the 125 live center at the Rec. The staff and trainers are great and there's something for everyone between the ages of 18 to ? ...no matter your ability or skill level. There are hobbies, fitness classes, and social events like dances, community speakers, and murder mystery nights. It's a great place to meet new people, move and have fun.
