Ventura Family YMCA

Positive experience: I love this YMCA. The gym is well-equipped, they offer a fantastic number of group classes and its very near where I live. The only complaint I have is that I rarely feel welcomed when I initially check in. The woman at the front dest who I usually see is just not very friendly. She is a young Latina woman (I am brown too) and she has a cold demeanor. Other than her, I like it there.

Positive experience: The warm pool is therapeutic. It was pretty nice. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: During 6 years keep a family membership and it was the COVID-19 new rules that prevented me the regular use of the pool and sauna. I’m just waiting for normal circumstances to join again.

Fantastic experience: The best thing about the Y is there is something for everyone. You can go with the whole family and they can all find something fun to do. I particularly enjoy the yoga. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
