Fantastic experience: i really love the kaplan center, its very clean, big and beautiful. my only suggestion is that the first time i came here i accidentally entered without checking in because i had trouble seeing where it was at first because there was all these people, and nobody stopped me, so that seems like a security risk-they should be more aware of who is entering.

Fantastic experience: I got summer membership here which was only $75 for the whole summer. This included gym access, swimming, access to several sports halls, piney lake (kayaking and other water activities), and a climbing wall.Great facilities, very clean, and during the summer months it was never overly busy. Only slightly negative point I have is I would like the gym to be open later at a night as it closes at 8 pm weekdays and 6 pm weekends.

Fantastic experience: The BEST university gym…period. Currently working at an Ivy League and UNCG’s gym is soooo much better. I didn’t realize how good I had it ????

Fantastic experience: i was able to take a class at this gym and it was awesome! my instructors name was chloe and she did a great job???? i hope to come back to take more classes in the future and if i see that chloe has classes available i might just have to join her again

Positive experience: Pretty nice gym with many amenities. Nice basketball court, rock climbing wall and pools. I transferred to UNCG in Spring 2021 from NCSU and wish they would make the dress code more prominent. You are not allowed to wear crop tops even with high waisted pants - you will be kicked out. It’s not a problem, but I wish it was available on their site before I walked there since many other gyms do not have that rule. Staff mentioned it is a rule from when they were still an all women’s college.
