Bow Creek Recreation Center

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased to have recently found and joined the VB Rec centers. Such a perk for residents! I’ve visited three of the seven, so far. The Kempsville pool is amazing! I’ve taken my grandkids there to play when they visit. I love walking in the water track against the current! The dance fitness classes are crowded and crammed in a smallish room but were fun. Princess Anne holds their Zumba in the big gym which I didn’t care for. Pool is okay. This facility seems dated. I’ve been especially enjoying the group fitness pump, tone, and balance classes at Bow Creek. It’s a spacious and clean facility. Perfect sized group fitness room with all the equipment provided and awesome instructors! Wish they offered more variety of daytime classes here! Next on my list to check out are Great Neck and Bayside!
