Fantastic experience: My kids had a lot of fun at summer camp!

Positive experience: The staff needs better training in customer service. My 3 yr old attends and the staff and coaches give off the vibe that they would rather not be there. Earlier this Spring, my first time taking my daughter, I tried to engage them with the simplest greeting and all three coaches/staff that were off in the corner ignored me, even when I talked loudly to my daughter asking “which way do we go?” At the end of the class, I asked the front desk lady for info about camps. Without looking up, she vaguely directed me to their website and no further info. (Spoiler alert: the info was not on the website & my wife had to call to gather more info) Poor customer service for someone they didn’t recognize and was clearly looking for direction on where to take their child. I asked my wife about it, who usually takes our daughter, and she quickly let me know that is their usual demeanor. Today, we dropped of our daughter for her first summer camp there. The place was much more crowded than usual, so it made my daughter shy and nervous. My wife spotted the coaches and tried to engage them to greet my daughter to calm her nerves, but it fell on deaf ears. Even though my wife and daughter were within 10 feet of them, waiving them down, the best the coaches could muster was a quick glance, then looking away without acknowledging them. That’s pretty rude to do to a mom and 3 year old that regularly attend. I think the coaching is just fine, but the lack of customer service and aloof attitude are big let downs. Besides learning the basics of gymnastics, we’d like to go to a place that my daughter enjoys all around and feels welcomed. They don’t need to be Chick-fil-A or Ritz Carlton good, but eye contact, greeting kids/parents & being attentive go a long way. We’ve got plenty more examples, these are not isolated events. There is hardly ever a smile directed at the kids in my child’s class. Edit: I can’t speak on behalf of the other coaches or classes. Also, most reviews here are well over a year old. While they are positive, I don’t know if things have changed over covid.

Fantastic experience: We love this place! My son is 3 and the coaches are great with them. I love how they actually take time to teach the smaller ones instead of letting them just play around. My son has learned so much! The facility is always clean and staff is always friendly. We cannot wait to take summer camp!
