Atilis Gym, Sea Isle City

Positive experience: If you’re looking for a cheap place to lift weights on vacation, this is it. They have everything you’d want when away from home. It gets the job done, but expect a low-budget experience. Suitable for teenagers & young adults or people looking to save $$ compared to the other gym on the island. It’s super humid inside - not ventilated at all. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years when in SIC. Minimal improvements over the years. There was noticeable grit & grime on the floor under much of the equipment downstairs on my past visits. All the dumbbells’ rubber material left black gritty smudges on my skin and clothes. Very tight quarters at popular hours, but that is the same deal at the premium gym on the island.

Fantastic experience: What a great experience, but the gym environment was only half of it. Cody is AWESOME! I came to this location twice over the weekend and he was always extremely welcoming, helpful, and upbeat. I can’t recommend this place enough! The gym has a classic feel and has every piece of equipment you’d ever need.
