908 Athletics - Berkeley Heights

Fantastic experience: In my 6 years of membership at 908 Athletics, I found an exercise regimen that I genuinely enjoy. I don't like to exercise and am not your typical gym person but the culture and community they have built at 908 is addictive--I love going (at 5am no less!) to see my "gym" friends, push 50-year old self, and get on a good sweat. I may not be the strongest person in the room but I leave 908 feeling strong, fit and happy.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a member but I participated in the 2022 Barbells and Beers CrossFit competition organized by 908. It was my first competition so I wasn't sure how everything was going to go. I have to say, it was so well run by the owners of 908. Everything was organized to a T, from keeping over 80 teams moving through heats for 6 hours without getting literally 1 minute off schedule, to diagrams ahead of time of the area telling us where we could and couldn't park. The facility was very nice and clean - it had an open air feel. Based on my experience there for the comp, I would recommend checking it out.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Dropped in in 2016 and again this thanksgiving week. Superior coaching with Tim and excellent community of welcoming people. Good programming with a bonus of tons of high quality equipment! Even the bathrooms are huge and gorgeous! Highly recommend if you want a workout full of fun and sweat!
