Fantastic experience: Heroes teaches great JiuJitsu based on the Gracie Fundementals passed on to the legendary Pedro Sauer then to Chris Mize the "Godfather of Alabama MMA" I highly recommend the school whether you want to compete, want to get some exercise, or for self defense.

Fantastic experience: We took a private self defense class and it was great! The instructor (Chris) was very knowledgeable and helpful. He entertained different scenarios and situations and showed my college aged daughters how to escape different holds. He gave them ample time to practice the maneuver before moving on to a new skill. I would definitely recommend Heroes Martial Arts Academy!

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to train. Very welcoming atmosphere and the instructors are all very down to earth, highly skilled teachers. If you’re looking for a gym where everyone is a yolked boot camp instructor with anger issues, then this is NOT the place for you. If you’re looking for a group of welcoming, unassuming, NORMAL people from all walks of life that can kill you in five seconds, then welcome home.
