Stone Summit Midtown

Fantastic experience: Bouldering only but very soft mats and great people who are happy to help you out.

Positive experience: Nice gym with good setting, nice community feel, good music, and pretty clean. A bit small, no system board, and holds are old and chossy. They need brushes bad.

Fantastic experience: I visited this place during a work trip. The location is convenient - in central midtown. The space is in the basement level of an office building, so I had trouble finding the entrance. The amount of space is somewhat small, but they make good use of it. There's a good range of route difficulty and the routes themselves are interesting! This gym also had a good sized regular workout gym with weights.

Fantastic experience: I'm a member of Stone Summit, and go to midtown about once a month. The setting is a little easier then the other two gyms. There is a great young professionals group of people here, easy to make friends, very fun to work on boulders together. There is only bouldering here. There is a lot of slab and straight walls, not much overhang. The quality of the walls and holds is very good. The gym is good for new climbers, but not the best place for kids. Kids will have a better time at the other two locations.

Fantastic experience: Love it here. Great variety of routes. The weight section is fantastic. And the staff is incredible.
