Clyde Recreation Center: Opinions
Fantastic experience: One of the best rec centers in the state! It’s newer and really nice! Spacious with an indoor and small outdoor pool. Fun environment, perfect place to take the family!
Fantastic experience: A nice place to go swimming with the family, lots of very good kid friendly facilities. Good lifeguard coverage, and at a decent cost. The family annual membership is shockingly expensive, however, if you only plan to come once a month or less just pay per visit, it's far more reasonable.
Fantastic experience: I'm really impressed with this place. Rarely anymore do you see youth workers that actually care about their job and what they do. You can tell they must have their own work culture thing going there. You're greeted promptly, they are actively engaging people. And the life guards, more of the same. They are hyper attentive. A few years ago at another pool, a little child went off the diving board and it didn't take but a moment to realize that little kid had no idea what he was getting into and was way over his head, ha. But no amount of yelling, whistling, waving or screaming got the life guards attention and I ended up going in after the kid, clothes and all. My point, other than bragging, is that wouldn't happen here. They take their work seriously. The membership prices are really fair. The family membership was the beat deal. And the facilities are amazing. They have everything you need for a fun day with the kids, a relaxing dip in the hot tub, a quiet swim in the lane pool, gym, basketball, pickle-ball courts outside... just everything. Super cool place. Managed very well.
Positive experience: Great facility. Fitness classes can be insanely loud. Bring earplugs if you're just there to use the weights. The weight room occasionally has kids not being supervised by an adult. Also, the floor could often be kept a little cleaner, which makes working out on the floor a little gross. Staff are nice and the facility is otherwise well-kept up.
Positive experience: Very nice and lots of fun. Not that big of place and very little to do for toddlers. Provo has a bit more to do and bigger pools. This one is more south so it's closer to where we live witch is nice.
