Fantastic experience: CrossFit’s DNA is in battling chronic disease, living a healthy lifestyle and bringing communities together. Although Ocean State North offers much more than these things, it has not forgotten about the original values. Classes are offered basically all throughout the morning, day, and night for anyone’s convenience. This includes Oly and boot camp sessions, as well as personal training for one on one sessions. The coaches are always upbeat and friendly. And they all know their stuff. Workouts are structured at many levels to ensure every participant is working appropriately. And I mean every level. A Games level athlete and a first timer can be in class together and reach the exact same stimulus. I’ve been here for 6 months now after being at my first CrossFit gym for a year and a half. The community is truly exceptional. We are currently in the middle of the Open and although most of the members are not necessarily interested in competition, the atmosphere has been electric. Every person in the building stays for an extra session or two to support their friends. As an aspiring CrossFit athlete myself, I could not ask for a better situation. I see on a daily basis how this place changes lives for the better. Crossfit is hard but after you get through these workouts, you gain perspective. It makes everything else in your day seem simple and easy. Give Ocean State Crossfit North a try. It’s worth every penny!
