Crunch Fitness - San Angelo

Fantastic experience: Visited here with a friend as her guest. It is very nice and sparkly clean. It was busy when we were there but we had no problem doing our workout with the machines and equipment that we needed. There is plenty of equipment to handle the busy hours. The ladies locker room was very nice and sparkly clean as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all this is a very nice gym. I would definitely workout here again.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. I got a wonderful, informative tour that didn't take too long, and I was offered all the amenities. Pros: A wide range of equipment, plenty of trainers hanging around to get advice from, a very clean facility, a daycare while you work out, great tanning beds, sunless tanning, and hydro massage which was wonderful. They have a kind and very helpful staff. The facilities are spotless and they keep them that way. They have a wide range of drinks if you forget your Gatorade, and if you have any questions the front desk will be happy to help you at any point in time. Pro Tip: I would suggest bringing your own sanitary wipes for the machines if you exercise during the busy hours. They try to keep them clean but sometimes the gym is crowded enough that they can't get to them right away, you'll need to bring wipes with you if that's a concern you have. Cons: In the ladies locker room they only have one separate stall for changing clothes. I generally work out before I go to work so being able to take a shower after my workout is important. The shower doors are almost see through and provide no privacy from the rest of the locker room. I would be more comfortable in this gym if the shower doors were not see through. They do have a handicap stall however that has an opaque shower curtain, but they do not offer this privacy to the other two showers. The other con is at the gym is very crowded, so I'll be looking for a time to go in before work when there are not too many people there. All in all, the gym is amazing. Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of good equipment and the managing partner is very friendly and customer oriented. Very busy and even has an area for your kids to play while you work out or tan. There is a staff member on duty that doesn't leave so the kids are supervised 100% of the time. Everything is brand new for the most part and the equipment is top brand, not cheap like other gyms. The tanning beds are really nice as well. The price for basic membership is very affordable for everything that you get with it and even the upgraded levels are affordable.

Fantastic experience: I came in having gained a lot of weight over the last few years. One of the girls there, Faith, was so nice and helpful. Not only was she trying to help me find the perfect plan for my specific needs, but she was kind and patient, even sharing a little about herself which definitely put me at ease as I came in thinking I'd feel out of place. When she asked what my fitness goals were and I mentioned I was mostly wanting to work out because I had become self-conscious because of my weight, she even told me that she honestly thought I looked fine. Her patience and kindness seemed to be less about trying to make a sale (though that was undeniably a motivator as well), but about being genuinely kind-hearted and helping someone she doesn't even know start to build confidence.
