The Zone/EPOC Salem

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Came in from out of town for the holidays and was happy to be able to use this facility. Mandy was attentive with communication via email. Gym was clean and had everything I needed and for not a bad price. Will be back next time I visit. Hope to never miss a workout, even when I'm away from home.

Fantastic experience: The Zone in Salem is the best. You do not have to be the best athlete to be able to participate. I am so glad that we have this type of business in our little town. Everyone now loves to exercise.

Fantastic experience: I've never exercised in my life. I didn't have to worry about it until medication made me double my weight. I lost part of it on dietary and medication changes but in this new page of life I want to know what it's like to walk a mile or do the housework without being winded or overheated which also happened when I was tiny. The classes are wonderful and I'm going to the gym 5 days or more per week. They keep telling me to only do what I can do especially with my doctor ordering me not to run or jump with my bad joints. Don't get discouraged and I highly recommend getting their belt and heart rate monitor because it really does give you an idea of where you started and where you are now.

Fantastic experience: The Zone is such a fantastic and supportive gym! Whether you are an experienced athlete or someone trying out the gym for the first time, you will not be disappointed! I've been going for over 9 months and between the gym and the EPOC classes they offer it has pushed me to become so much stronger and less injury prone in my running. They do monthly challenges that are really fun and are one of my favorite parts! Very clean and always friendly!

Fantastic experience: The Zone in Salem is the best! It is always very clean and the staff is great. A very welcoming environment. You have to try an EPOC class! I have never consistently worked out until these classes came into my life. I have stuck to it for over a year! You go in and the workout is all planned for you, so you don't even have to think about it. Just go in and get your workout on. Such a supportive community that I am happy to be a part of!
