Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Fantastic experience: My son an I attend Legacy Jiu Jitsu and we've been there for a month now. I have been training for 4 years in jiu jitsu and my experience thus far here at legacy has been very pleasant. The instructors are very polite, informative and technical, I've trained with some great people and i look forward to more sessions. my son really enjoys going to class and it's really fun watching him learn new things.

Fantastic experience: I came to this gym as an adult beginner interested in jiu jitsu. I signed up for the 3-for-$20 intro offer, and I'm so glad I did. The owners and teachers are very friendly and took great care of me. The other students are welcoming and considerate. I never felt abandoned or confused and there was always someone willing to be my class partner. The higher ranked belts take you under their wing and make sure you're getting the concepts in practice. They'll answer your questions and they do a great job of showing the bigger picture of specific moves. The classes are very reasonably priced and there are cool add-ons to add to your membership for unbeatable prices. If you're on the fence about learning a martial art, don't be scared! Do it. It's so worth it.

Fantastic experience: My son is 5 years old and is a super active and spacey kid, he has a hard time listening and other sports we’ve tried just haven’t been a good fit for him. I think growing up in Covid and being isolated at home was really hard for kids this age but let me tell you, the staff at Legacy is incredible! They really know how to communicate with my son and help him to learn a lot of valuable skills that lots of kids didn’t get the opportunity to learn the last couple years. Some things I love about this gym and the staff here are the willingness to communicate with parents, the kindness that is shown to these kids, and the standard that is upheld when it comes to teaching these kids respect and listening skills, and most of all the patience and grace that is given during class. I look forward to my son learning and growing in this environment where he is surrounded by adults he can look up to as well as make new friends with his peers. This is truly a one of a kind place! Also, I have to add that this gym is incredibly clean! I expected my son to get sick within the first week because, well it’s little kids wrestling around together, so I figured it was inevitable but we have yet to get sick and I haven’t seen a single sick person in the building. I also know that the cleaning standards here are high and I appreciate that! I recommend this gym to anyone who has an energetic child that needs some extra support in a structured environment!
