Ludus Performance Gym

Fantastic experience: My fiance and I love this gym!! The staff are always so incredibly nice and uplifting. The gym has everything we need to get a great workout in and actually prefer it compared to commercial gyms. I 100% recommend joining the Ludus fam!

Fantastic experience: Upper 50s here. Consider myself fit but wake up w/ the usual cranky knees, creaking shoulder, sore back, etc. Came upon Ludus via word of mouth (always a good thing) and signed up w/ Adam for training. Started slow at first, which turns out to be a good thing as I have been doing it wrong. Working on core, general strength, AND TECHNIQUE has reaped many rewards and I'm only six weeks in. First- my core and balance are definitely stronger and more stable. No longer falling over doing one legged yoga poses. 2nd- my joints actually ache less, despite doing more- turns out it is all about the technique and not just the amount of weight. 3rd- certainly have more strength and stamina. Finished a 130 mile cycling ride this weekend- on day one 40 miles into a 70 mile day, I'm averaging speeds that I would previously struggle at on rides half the distance. I had my highest mile personal best that did not leave me wishing death upon myself. I attribute that to working w/ Adam and Ludus Performance. It ain't Gold's or Planet Fitness (thankfully) and nobody prances around. It's a good basic gym, with skilled people training, and equipment I've not seen at other places that is great for core and strength. Won't go wrong signing up here. And training prices are very reasonable too!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member at Ludus since its inception. If you are looking for a gym with all the equipment you could need, a knowledgable group of trainers that share a common passion for fitness, you really should give them a look. I've been a member of LA Fitness (when I lived in South Jersey) so I know what a national gym chain is like. I trained and was a member at Princeton Fitness and Wellness so I know what it feels like to be treated as a dollar sign. To me, PFW only seemed interested in generating a monthly membership fee. Ludus is interested in creating customers for a lifetime. They do it by following a simple model. Be passionate about what you do, listen to what the customer asks and create an environment that is both comfortable and fun to work out in. The owner is on site most, if not all days and runs his business by treating employees and gym members like family. I should know, I train with him personally. Give them a call or better yet, stop by to see Joe the owner. You won't be sorry.

Fantastic experience: I have avoided going to the gym for many years. I should have signed up for these guys a long time ago. They are professional and knowledgeable and even tho' I'm working hard, it's very enjoyable. Cannot recommend it highly enough...

Fantastic experience: Incredible gym with incredible trainers! My daughter joined to train for the US service academy candidate fitness assessment (CFA), and we couldn't be happier with the results. She passed, and feels stronger and happier than ever.
