Crunch Fitness - Pacific Beach

Positive experience: Plenty of machines and all. Just no ventilation. You walk in after your 9-5 and its smells of body odor . At least at other gyms with this many people they have proper ventilation and air-conditioning this place is a sweatbox. It’s full of babes and hunks and all that. Fantastic experience: I've been a long-time member of Crunch PB, and while it hasn't always been perfect, I always seem to get a great workout in, the staff has always been cool, and I love the overall vibe of the place. It's very bright and has lots of windows, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. It may not compare to a "Fit" type of gym, but for the price point and location, I have zero gripes about going to Crunch. And as of February 2022, the new manager and her team are doing a great job!

Fantastic experience: Great facility, a lot of space, large amount of machine options and longer hours than most other gyms in the area. You need to bring your own lock for the locker room, which is sort of annoying, but now I just go in my gym clothes so I have nothing to store. Highly recommend as a good local option.
