Fantastic experience: Southern Star is hands down my favorite yoga studio in town. I just became a member, and I’ve been attending different classes to see which ones I would prefer. I prefer all of them; especially yoga with the 5:30am gang. Each instructor brings their own individual practice to the class; which I love because I learn something new every single time. Even when attending a class with the same instructor, no class is the same. The instructors are intentional, patient, descriptive, and full of such beautiful energy. Their energy evokes excitement, passion, and a sacred approach to my own practice. I love the community that I’ve been graciously welcomed into. The atmosphere is gentle and open. The instructors/owners are a reflection of that light as well. It truly is a space where you learn to honor self. Would definitely recommend becoming a member or simply attending a few classes.

Fantastic experience: When I visit my daughter in Oxford, we always try to find a group fitness class to attend: it’s kind of our thing:) The Saturday morning class at Southern Star was exactly what I needed on this trip... a beautiful space to practice beautiful movement with lovely people. Fantastic experience: This is a great yoga studio! They have a wide variety of classes, a good staff of teachers (everyone has a variety of teaching styles and specialties), and also some flexible membership terms (drop-in, punch card, unlimited one month, unlimited year, etc.). Their hot yoga classes are the first I've attended, but are challenging and fun. Was able to do on-site workshops at my work (for a very reasonable fee) which our employees loved. Definitely recommend any of the hot yoga classes to anyone who's not afraid to sweat and try out a challenging, but rewarding yoga workout. Gentle and beginning level classes also available. Overall, this is a great studio and I'll miss it when I have to relocate for work.
