Ojai Valley Gym

Fantastic experience: No bs gym. High quality equipment, clean, well kept, friendly community. They even have a full size thai style heavy bag that you can hang from the squat rack. Unless your name is larry wheels, they will have everything you need to get a great workout in. Id like to especially highlight the fact that they have a dip station. Ive been to so many gyms that do not provide good options for body weight workouts, but oh man, i think i moght have to marry that dip machine, its so stable, and its raised high off the ground which is a blessing for tall people like myself (no knees and toes scraping the floor at the bottom of the rep.) They have like every grip variation for resistance machines under the sun. And overall, they got more weight plates, dumbells, and bar bells available than i know what to do with. Im strongly considering a membership to this place as my main gym when i move back to the area.

Positive experience: A good option for a work out in the Oak View area. Simple gym with all the basics. Two treadmills and 2 ellipticals. Dave is a enthusiast trainer and owner.
