Fantastic experience: When I moved to the Newport News area I began my search for a gym that would continue to foster growth toward my goals and upheld my standards. American Iron not only exceeds these basic gym standards (clean equipment, professional, variety of quality equipment, positive environment, etc.), but has become a place I feel at home. From the moment you step in the door you become part of a family of driven people, who are ALWAYS willing to lend you a hand. The owner, Rex, goes above and beyond for each and every member and shows his dedication to the American Iron family without fail. I have only positive things to say about this gym and couldn’t be happier with my time spent here! Highly recommend checking them out :)

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Dropped in for a workout - it's definitely an old school men's gym. Nothing polished about it, but you can lift without a shirt, make noise, and do your thing without any drama.

Fantastic experience: Solid gym only true 24/7 365 gym in Newport News. I work in the bar industry so my hours are all over the place and this gym allows me to catch a workout anytime. Everything you could possibly want to get a pump this gym has! Also new ownership is way better!
