Fantastic experience: Our son did the initial free class and loved it! Sensei Aaron did a wonderful job showing him different moves and was very patient and gave positive feedback. Our son enjoys going to class. Everyone there is very kind and it is definitely a family environment. They teach the kids about respect and gratitude which is so important. Our son has asked to stay after class to do more practicing and they stay and help guide him which he loves. We definitely recommend trying this Dojo! Sensei Ben is very passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and wants to make sure everyone enjoys their experience!

Fantastic experience: Both my kids are attending the white belt classes. I can see such an improvement in them both in just a month. They are more confident in themselves and less arguing at home. This class has helped my son a lot when it comes to him coming out of his bubble and taking chances. All the staff are super friendly hands on and worth the money spent monthly.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place and the instructor is top of the line. Down to earth and couldn't be a nicer guy. Had a birthday party here that I had a kid attend and I plan on sending my children to this to learn and grow. His core values are a big part of what kids need to be learning these days.

Fantastic experience: I attended my nephew's birthday party here at the beginning of the month. I was very impressed with the professionalism, kindness, respect, and skill demonstrated to the children and the parents. The instructor, whom I believe was the owner as well, was also honest and straight forward - a very valuable quality of which you don't find much of these days. If you are looking for a place as an adult or for your kids to learn martial skills, I would highly recommend Impact Family Martial Arts in Newark.
