Anytime Fitness Lakeview

Positive experience: Mid, I’d like to say I’m a connoisseur of anytime fitness gyms as I have been to quite a few across these 50 United States. This one was a hard no after a few attempts at a good leg pump tonight. Most of the equipment Is dilapidated and archaic especially the leg machines and squat racks.The water from the fountain tasted like ethanol but I’ll put that blame on the city. The low ceilings gave me a a fight club vibe and I will say the lighting was pretty good but the full body mirror in the male shower has horrible lighting preventing me from mirin my non-existent leg pump. The poster board which is intended to be plastered with motivating quotes and local business ads was empty, do better.

Fantastic experience: The address of this gym is 125 Allen Toussaint Blvd. The name of the street WAS Robert E Lee. It is no longer as of February 1, 2022 People who refuse to accept this street name change keep changing the address of this gym on google as 125 W Robert E Lee, which is still a valid street name and completely different street. When using google GPS using the W Robert E Lee will direct you to the WRONG address. West Robert E lee is on the other side of Canal and is a small dead end street. It has a W in the name for WEST. It is not Robert E Lee. If google directs you to the the shopping mall that has a patio furniture store in it or a tall office building with urgent care in it. You are in the wrong spot. Please stop hassling the various employees in this other mall. We had nothing to do with the street name change, and do not want to hear your political views any longer, when you come in looking for Anytime Fitness. Take it up with the city not us. If you are looking for this Anytime Fitness it's next to Roberts Grocery. Anytime Fitness does not seem to keep up or lock the address in this Google profile. Again the correct address for this store is 125 ALLEN TOUSSAINT BLVD near Roberts and Walgreens.

Fantastic experience: The first gym in Lakeview after Katrina. Friendly staff and solid free WiFi. I only wish they had Concept 2 row machines. Update 1/2/2022 they have a Concept 2 row machine.

Positive experience: I workout here for locational convenience. Staff is friendly. Weekends are good because it’s empty. Limited space in the weight room and on busy week nights that’s frustrating. There’s a diarrhea smell some days that stays in the entire gym, along with a guy who brings his 2 year old child to roam around while everyone is trying to workout. ????

Positive experience: BENEFIT IS IN NAME ANYTIME!! CONVENIENT AND ANYWHERE ESPECIALLY TRAVELING NEVER MISS TRAINING DAY
