Sam's Gym

Fantastic experience: Sam Jones is a world famous kick boxer and runs THE oldest boxing gym in America. It is free and open to the public. Open Mon and Wed 6-8. He opens at exactly 6pm. So don't get frustrated and leave before 6. He accepts donations and encourages kids to learn.Bring a friend!

Fantastic experience: Great training and the walls in the gym have alot of history youll probably be looking at them the whole time your there if your not training. Sam is a really good coach and is welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Sam's gym is a legitimate boxing gym. Sam is a local icon and hero, and a really great guy who cares about everyone who walks through his door. A great place to work out and learn or practice your boxing skills.

Fantastic experience: I was 16 the first time I went to Sam's gym to spare; it's a long way from home. Now I'm 32, a coach, and I take my fighters there to spare now. Sam is a very knowledgeable coach and a very good fighter well worth any drive to get to his gym. If you go to his gym remember to donate to the donation jar it goes to a good cause.
