Fantastic experience: We just moved to Montclair. We were spoiled as our previous Y was completely remodeled with new equipment and a state of the art pool and basketball court. Of course the membership fee reflected that. While the Montclair facility isn’t modern and doesn’t offer a variety of options and could use many more cardio machines, you do get the sense of community. And that starts with the front desk. I’d like to give a personal shout out to Bianca who handled my concerns with incredible professionalism and kindness. The Y should make certain they retain employees like Bianca. My families BIGGEST issue, the basketball situation. If women are required to request a basketball (bc yes women use a different size ball 28.5) for use, so should the men. Mens basketballs 29.5 are immediately available court side, Gender gap much? I’ll add finally that we love that this Y takes cleanliness seriously, especially in these COVID times.

Fantastic experience: I love the Montclair Y. I have been a member for over 15 years. There is a familial vibe that is very special., It is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a varied choice of classes and work out space. Worth the price of admission

Fantastic experience: The staff is exceptional. Karen and Ronni at the front desk will always bring sunshine for you even on a rainy or cloudy day. Isabella, Anaya, and Warren at the pool deck are always very friendly and kind. Troy in the weight room will keep you smiling even early in the morning. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility. The patrons are also very nice.
