Fantastic experience: My son started attending Nova Star in the early summer of 2020. He immediately developed a passion and commitment for the art. Sensi Doug has provided the perfect balance of training and mentoring him. Teaching him the value of dedication, setting goals and working toward new achievements. His time at Novastar has been a very rewarding experience!

Fantastic experience: Our son has been attending classes here for 6 months and he loves it! He has made good friends here and I really enjoy the other families that bring their kids here. The classes are smaller and intimate and the students get personalized attention. The classes are fun and constructive. I appreciate the structure that the classes bring to our routine.

Fantastic experience: Sensei Doug is great with the kids! Very professional and demands respect for him and others but is realistic as to what to expect from each age group. Inexpensive compared to other studios we've looked into and no long contracts. The kids also learn how to properly use weapons they earn and have fun events throughout the year. Plus, plus plus! I highly recommend this karate studio.

Fantastic experience: Sensei Doug has been a great mentor for my boys. They have been going to Novastar for over 1 year now and they still love going. These classes have kept my boys interest and focus and that’s important for wiggly boys. Sensei Doug has the right combination of discipline and instruction and fun for the kids. They laugh and learn and get a good workout in. Their flexibility and strength and focus have improved. We love Novastar! Thanks for providing such a great resource in our community.
