Crescent Yoga Studio & Eco-Boutique

Fantastic experience: I have attended classes at Crescent Yoga several times now. I have enjoyed every class and every instructor. I have also met some lovely people there. I plan to make it my “go to” yoga place as long as they will let me come!

Fantastic experience: This is where I have learned yoga. Prior to joining I was hesitant and did not believe my body was going to handle it well. Life’s handships brought me to their door one day, they took me in, understood me with an open mind and I’ve been coming here about 5-6 times a week ever since. I feel comforted and welcomed every time. Some classes (solar) are amazing cardio workouts. Other classes (lunar) bring peace through strength. The restorative/meditation classes bring clarity of thoughts. I have also gained the confidence to pursue other adventures in my life. Overall, this place has molded my mind and body into completeness and I am forever humbled and grateful.

Positive experience: I was really hoping to have a good experience at this location, but unfortunately I did not. I do not recommend the infrared sauna. When I first went to check the place out on a Sunday afternoon one of the yoga instructors was extremely welcoming and showed me the infrared sauna and spoke to me about there services. I decided to purchase the 3 sessions of infrared sauna which are 30 minutes each . My first sauna experience I arrived 5 minutes early as are the instructions on the email for me to confirm my appointment. A different yoga instructor whom was very sweet and welcoming showed me how she turns on the sauna and that it would need to get at 130°. So I waited about another 5 minutes because it was not fully heated at that temperature.  Which was fine with me. On my second appointment I went on a Saturday morning. I arrived again 5 minutes early as instructed. Another different instructor was there. The instructor seemed annoyed by me too. Not sure why. Well the sauna was not turned on at all. Luckily the previous instructor showed me how to turn it on and so I did. I  had to wait another 15 minutes for the sauna to fully heat up. I was annoyed by this of course but brushed it off. I understand people make errors. Well as I was leaving the sauna the owner Dawn stopped me and without asking any questions accused me of adding more minutes to the 30 minute sauna session I requested. She also accused me of arriving TOO early. She also said I was not on there roster. I let her know that I myself had to turn it on and it was not ready therefore that is why I was in there longer because I had to wait an extra 15 minutes.I also advised her that there own confirmation email instructs me to arrive 5 minutes early.  I let her know I should of been on her roster and that I had confirmed my appointment the previous day. At no time did I raise my voice at her and neither did she. We were both adults about the situation. I cant really remember if she apologized or not because I felt offended and unwelcome.  I understand people and businesses make mistakes, but I am a woman who works hard for her money and to have spent my money on a place where you think should be a peaceful atmosphere. It definitely was not for me.  I do wish for this place to do better because theres always room for improvement.  But I also wrote this review to let others know of my experience. I will include though that my 3rd session was a a whole lot better experience.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Texas and was hoping to find a Spiritual home and family which I did the moment I met Dawn and Bonnie my Reiki Master Soul Sister! What an amazing place with an incredible staff of talented caring people all so very gifted! I'm blessed to be part of their family and you will be too! Come join us!

Fantastic experience: Love this studio and the beautiful cOMmUnity of yogis enjoying classes now for over 20 years with my yoga friends! All the teachers are fantastic at CYS.
