Fantastic experience: This place made my son fall in love with the sport. Coaches are the perfect combo of strict and friendly. They command respect and the kids love them! Best introduction to the sport that you can get. Extremely recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great training environment and energy! I trained here for over 6 months and loved every second of it. Coach Will’s knowledge of BJJ is very extensive. I have trained BJJ all over the country and he is legit. I would recommend Black House to anyone who is looking to step up their game.

Positive experience: I came to the new location after Fern informed me that they have moved on Yelp! Now that's marketing! I was worried about the parking situation, but we were able to nab a spot in the back for Sunday brunch. To my surprise and delight the prices were the same!! Under $6 for a large Black House. Such a great deal especially for this area. The flavors also remained the same. I always get worried because new chefs often alter the recipes. My friend who recently moved to Miami, FL was also very pleased saying how good it was. Black House Soup with Thin Noodle, Mild... that's my jam. But this is Thai mild so it's still quite intense. Drinking the broth made my forehead sweat. Ask for a side of broth to dilute to your liking for sure! Reminder to myself - request no bean sprouts (personal preference.)
