Fantastic experience: Had my first lesson today and it met all my needs: GREAT instructor (Tom), welcoming atmosphere and classmates, perfect mix of drills & sparring, sweat soaked t-shirt, and finishing class with all my teeth intact! So, what sets Hayastan apart from other gyms? In my opinion it is the method of instruction. To learn to fight for real, you need to practice against a resisting opponent. By starting with rote drills, then drills where you don’t know what punch is coming, and finally to sparring w/speed but decreased power,, you learn to fight for real—not just apply multiple techniques against non-compliant opponents as in some other martial arts.

Fantastic experience: It has been amazing to train at this gym. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and have tons of experience to draw upon. It doesn't matter if you haven't ever thrown a punch in your life, they will gladly help you get to whatever goal you wish whether it be fitness, self-defense, or competition.

Fantastic experience: I have been training here for a few years now, and I can easily say that signing up here was the best decision I have ever made. The gym staff and students will make you feel like family, coaching is terrific, and the advanced students are great people to look up to, as well as inspiring others. If you're looking to get in shape, learn how to fight, or just simply getting out of your comfort zone, this is the right place to be. Words cannot explain how much this gym changed my life, I'm proud to be a Hayastan member. H4L!

Fantastic experience: The kids coaches are amazing! They engage the kids and teach great form but also allow the kids to play games, have fun, and really spar and fight. It’s the perfect combination and the kids never get bored! The facility is large and clean and the equipment is new. I can’t say enough good things. We are so fortunate to have found Hayastan!
