Given the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in our area, Munson Healthcare (MHC) has reinstated a policy of mandatory face coverings in all of its facilities. This includes MHC fitness centers, which are accessible to staff, patients, and members of the public.

Starting on Tuesday, May 30, 2022, everyone who visits our facility must wear a medical-grade mask the entire time. Gaiters, cloth masks, and valve masks are not acceptable. If you don't have the right kind of mask, we will give you one.

We realize that wearing masks while utilizing our facility is not ideal. Be aware that Munson Healthcare's medical professionals are monitoring the COVID-19 infection rates intently and when the numbers decrease, we should be able to remove the need for masks.

Manistee Health & Fitness is a complete fitness center situated in the Munson Healthcare Manistee Community Health Center on 1345 E. Parkdale Ave. Most of the group exercise classes are part of a membership. There are various membership plans available to the public, including a family package.

The gym offers a wide selection of workout machines, such as treadmills, stair climbers, rowing machines, elliptical trainers, and stationary bikes. Additionally, there is a free-weight room, a space for stretching and toning, and an aerobic circuit.

Manistee Health & Fitness, which is part of Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital, provides an aesthetically pleasing shower and locker room area, as well as TVs with headphones for remote use. Additionally, individuals can easily coordinate an exercise plan with their doctor.

The personnel at Manistee Health & Fitness are certified trainers and exercise experts who can assess medical history and create short-term and long-term fitness objectives.
