Fantastic experience: This is an awesome gym. I really don't understand what all of the complaints are about. Between the two locations there's everything you can imagine including 24hr access. You guys should check it out yourself before listening to the negative comments, it's been great for me.

Fantastic experience: I really love LAC! It’s never crowded and I love all the iron. They really maintain their equipment and place is always clean. I like that there’s not big crowds taking up equipment. If you like heavy lifting this place gives you that opportunity too and gives you that old time gym feeling and I love that.

Fantastic experience: If you like to get a no bs workout it’s great gym. It doesn’t have the flashiest equipment but it has everything required. Golds gym has turned into a high-schooler boy-band social meet up. This gym never gets that busy. Plus has a pool , hot tub and basketball courts.

Positive experience: Definitely prefer local gyms over national chains. Good club, has pretty much everything you look for in a gym. If I had to guess, maybe used to be a Y.

Positive experience: A true gym as Golds Gym used to be but with a local flare. Loved best for its indoor tennis facility they offer giant rooms within the facility for different types of machines. Full boxing ring, spin class, Olympic weights, cardio room, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, basketball and more.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of space, and several safety precautions are constantly being taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. I would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've visited dozens of iron gyms all over the US. This one is my type place, i love it. Planet fitness didn't have dumbells big enough for me, Golds was a swarm of youngsters, and LAC was the 3rd place I visited. It may not be for everyone, but it's iron paradise for me! If you want to lift heavy and not be tormented by swarms of annoying ppl, then LAC is great.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Quality Been going here for about 5 months now and the gym is perfect for me. Not too populated and generally a chill atmosphere. Staff is quick to correct any problems.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful place. The pool is just gorgeous. I signed up because the rec center is closed on Sunday. I wanted to swill on sat and sun evening. This place is so comfortable I would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Housed in an older building, the compartmentalized style provides greater privacy. There are multiple rooms offering a wide variety of fitness activities, boxing ring, aerobic equipment, free and machine weights, dance studio, swimming pool, and courts for basketball, raquet ball, tennis... The equipment is up to date, clean, and well maintained. The staff is friendly, upbeat, and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in town bar none. Love the outdoor pool and hot tub. Full sized basketball court, 8 tennis courts, 3 racquetball courts, boxing ring, weights, spin room, class room, heavy free weights room, and all without being crazy crowded all the time like most gyms in town! Love this place! ❤

Fantastic experience: Some of my best workouts have taken place here. Tons of old and unique equipment. Plus there's several weight training rooms, a large wet area, tennis courts, and a basketball court. A day pass is ten dollars. I think it's with it!

Fantastic experience: I love this place. They have everything a bodybuilder and powerlifter could ever need. I don't care if the equipment is aged or the Olympic plates are all mismatched. It is old school and awesome. I do not go there to admire the equipment or paint on the walls. I do not go there to socialize. I go there to work. My only ask is that there be a declining flat bench to use on the smith machines. I lift alone, and I'd prefer to do decline presses on the smith machine for safety.

Fantastic experience: They have a great sauna, pool, and steam room. I also appreciate how there are separate rooms to give you a little bit of privacy (the whole gym doesn't watch you work out). Good sparring gym with punching bags. I'd also recommend playing ultimate frisbee (included with your membership) at noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's a great group of people to socialize with and it's so much better cardio than a treadmill.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the LAC. I've had many other gym memberships elsewhere in Longmont but this is by far my favorite. There are plenty of choices here, tons of equipment, a pool, and plenty of room incase you want to get away and be more secluded. As a woman I feel very comfortable here. The gym equipment is in pretty good shape, some is a little old but who cares?! Love it here.
