Fantastic experience: This is a solid gym and staff is awesome. Much love to those guys. Not many old school gyms out there anymore! Great place to get a lift in. As you can see all of the negative reviews are political crybabies who've never even been there. Don't pay attention to that, be a free thinker and make your own opinion.

Fantastic experience: As long as I live in Oceanside, this will be my gym for life. Not only is it a raw gym that takes fitness serious but the owner, Lou,, is fantastic, a hero, a patriot,, and truly a great person. I temporarily lost my job due to the V mandate and had to stop my Jiu-jitsu and MetroFlex membership. When Lou found out why I was stopping my membership, he wouldn't hear of it. He called me directly and told me he will continue my membership for as long as it takes me to get another job. I tried relentlessly to talk him down knowing just how hard it is to keep the mom and pop businesses afloat, especially gyms since they kept forcing them to shut down... but Lou would not hear of it. I was so touched by his generosity that I cried. Lou and the MetroFlex gym are as real as it gets. Him and hit staff whole heartedly believe in the importance of fitness which is exactly what he said to me on the phone "now (pandemic) isn't the time to stop going to the gym and let your health go". If this great country of ours had more people like Lou, America would be in a much much better place. Because of Lou and the MetroFlex gym, I was able to stay working out when I should've been saving and counting my pennies. Lou, I love you brother and appreciate you more than you know. I will stay with MetroFlex for as long as you'll have me. Highly recommend anyone looking for a solid gym in Oceanside to check out MetroFlex first because you will regret it if you didn't. This gym is the real deal.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Quality This is a top notch gym! The owner is amazing and the equipment is awesome. Inexpensive. Just a good no frills place to get fit!!! A bit of a throw back gym vs all these big box gyms with Zumba and classes. You come here to get huge, not to waste time!

Fantastic experience: These reviews about political beliefs are ridiculous here. I have been to this gym, although I am not a member there. It's a nice little beach gym and the people who work out there are into health and wellness. Because their beliefs don't align with what other people believe, people are attempting to write bad reviews and give one star. It reminiscent of a new level of lynching. Shame on Those people.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. They have some really cool equipment I have not seen at other gyms. Some of the members at this gym are body builder types, lots of people in amazing shape - good inspiration! Good vibes too. People are friendly and I have been assisted a few times when I couldn’t figure out machines. It’s easy to get to, only takes minutes once you exit the freeway and it’s west of the 5 so easy to head to the beach after works outs and catch the sunset. Fair prices, flexible hours. I joined cause my gym closed for the 3rd time now due to COVID - love that the owner is taking a stance against these tyrannical lockdowns. I am in a much better place now that I can still work out, gyms are essential! I will be cancelling my other membership and staying here as long as I’m living in north county

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to work out. All these reviewers upset about Covid-19 probably don't workout and most assuredly have never been to this gym. I've known the owner for 15 years and they are taking all the necessary precautions. There is NO EVIDENCE Covid-19 is transmitted via sweat anyway. All the gyms in Georgia are open (and Korea for that matter) and there are no issues to speak of. If you have an issue with the cost or quality of the facilities that's fine, but posting a poor review just to vent about Covid-19 is childish. I'm not Conservative and certainly not a Trump fan, but unless the gov't is going to pay their bills while they remain closed I don't expect companies to just go bankrupt while we wait for a cure. We have to learn to live WITH Covid-19 until then.

Fantastic experience: Arguably the best gym/atmosphere in SoCal. The owner and employees work hard to stay in compliance with all the health orders to allow us to be able to workout and take care of our mental and physical health. Sad that i had to move away from this gym, but if youre in the area and looking for a gym, this is the best one

Fantastic experience: This gym is a sanctuary! Members of ALL fitness levels. The owner is so humble and welcoming. All the Staff and Trainers are top notch. Everyone minds their own business!! Which is why I love this gym. My get away stress reliever. Lost over 50 lbs here last year! Now With a “minor” set back, SO HAPPY to be back and CONTINUE the gains! Even in this pandemic they are doing a fantastic job on regulating and cleanliness. THANK YOU METROFLEX!! I send all my people here.

Fantastic experience: Ignore the false 1 star reviews people have left that are angry Metroflex is open. They are not members. I am a member and need the gym for not only physical needs but also mental health. The owners are extremely kind people, always there and available. In the off chance there is an issue with equipment it is quickly remedied. Which is saying A LOT as I used to work for 24 hour corporate where it would take months to fix just 1 thing, if you were in a good location, if not, good luck wirh it ever being fixed. In regards to cleanliness this is also the cleanest gym I have stepped foot in. The workout floor, and especially locker rooms where I have 0 issues showering etc. It has a great atmosphere, people, and energy This is the best gym in Southern California.

Fantastic experience: MetroFlex is more than just a gym. They’ve created a community, a positive outlet and an encouraging and healthy environment for their members. Owners Louis and Sabrina are incredible people who add so much value to the Oceanside community and every person they encounter. Five star gym run by five star people! their equipment is very unique as well because they go above and beyond to cater to what their clients needs are.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym, they care about their members and treat us like family. They go above and beyond for us every single day. This is the only gym I’ve been apart of that the owners are on site and active at the facility (cleaning, signing people up, getting to know everyone). This place has such a great atmosphere all the members are friendly and encouraging. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced lifter you will feel at home here.

Fantastic experience: The best gym I’ve belonged to, period. For 29.99 a month you get a hardcore gym 24 hours a day. I’ve paid more for way less gym. The value is incredible, the staff is dedicated and helpful, the machines and equipment are top notch. I’ve since moved away but I’ll compare every gym I join to this Metroflex. Plus the owner is willing to get arrested for your gains! The guy carries his balls around in a wheelbarrow.

Fantastic experience: This gym is like family. Everyone is supportive of one another and helps each other reach their fitness goals. The trainers here are AMAZING, I’ve been trained by Erica Knight on and off for two years and she’s become a great friend and helped me get into the best shape I’ve ever been and supporting me while I competed. The owner understands and advocates the fact that the gym is, for many people, an essential function! Many individuals, including myself, use this facility to manage anxiety and depression symptoms as well through exercise, lifting and the family culture this gym has to offer. This gym is set up perfect for body builders and has recently gotten many new pieces of equipment I’ve never seen at any commercial gym before!

Fantastic experience: This gym is great! Everyone who works out there is very respectful of what they use, and makes sure to wipe down once finished. Owner of gym; Lou, is on top of social distancing. He has everything set up in compliance to the 6 foot rule, and will diligently watch to make sure things are staying in place/being wiped down. He monitors the doors to make sure they do not reach their limited capacity. Very happy with my membership, and I will recommend this gym to people who want to support local business and stray far far away from the big box gym lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: No fluff, just an awesome place to lift. Metroflex is the epitome of an anti-corporate gym. The owner Lou actually cares about his members and goes out of his way to make them feel welcome and comfortable. I've been coming here for almost a year and I've never seen anything less than stellar customer service from the management and real camaraderie among gym-goers. No one is going to mean mug you out of your set nor pass judgement. Everyone is there for the workout - and that's a really great thing. If you're looking for a gym, check this place out. I love this place, from my coach Lou, an amazing trainer and friend, to the atmosphere and the vibe of the place, i simply love it. From all my years going through so many gyms, i finally feel like home. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and professionals, helping you achieve your fitness goals giving you the tips and tools that you required to do so. Fantastic experience: Metroflex Oceanside is the EPITOME of what a gym environment should be like. If you’re more into corporate gyms like 24 Hour or LA Fitness where you keep to yourself and you don’t even know who the manager is, that’s fine. But, if those gyms just have not fit your taste or have gotten you excited to go to the gym, come to Metroflex Oceanside. First thing you might notice when you enter the facility is either this really big ripped guy named Lou or this other big handsome gentleman named Mike or the giant Bible scriptures on the wall. You’ve entered the House of God. This place could easily be just a gym for people, but a lot of us look at it as a place of healing, too. The energy in this gym is just… different here. It’s pure, it’s clean, it’s safe, it’s warm. As it says on their website, “You will not find any judgments here. This is a house of gains and all glory goes to God!” And, by “no judgments”, Metroflex Oceanside isn’t some commercial gym with a lunk alarm where they give you free pizzas as a “reward”. Everyone here really truly does care about you (fitness or life in general) and want to see you successful. Random people can become friends instantly, and no one ever hesitates to give you a spot or help you with a lift. Every trainer here and owners are extremely approachable. Not only that, they all lead by example. You will see THEM working out, as well. This is a lead-by-example with action, not just words, kind of gym. Get to know the people here. Whether they’re Marines, competitive bodybuilders, powerlifters, bikini models, athletes of any kind, entrepreneurs, MOMS/DADS WHO BRING THEIR BABIES/KIDS WITH THEM, people with a goal in mind and need a positive/supportive/energetic environment to execute that goal, or simply just people looking for a great gym… Get to know the people. Please don’t take just one look around and think this is a gym full of arrogant muscle heads and bikini butts. Everyone here is just really passionate, driven, and EXCITED for their sport/lifestyle, and would love to share that passion with you too. Plus, STATE OF THE ART equipment - especially for leg day! Fantastic experience: The Best Gym! I'm not a bodybuilding competitor but everyone here is so supportive and encouraging that I don't feel out of place. It can seem intimidating seeing these jacked guys and girls stronger than me, but they're honestly the most genuine and supportive group around. Lou is awesome, and made me feel at home from the very start. Plus, the main thing...you will get results with their help if you put in the work.

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best weight training facilities I’ve ever used. The Gym Owner is welcoming and passionate about his sport and it shows. With a large selection of equipment that is seldom seen at other facilities. A great overall environment where you will often encounter other serious fitness trainers. I’ve been to many other Gym’s and nothing compares. I’ve found my second home.

Fantastic experience: This place is a great place to workout. Don't let the pictures of bodybuilders or heavy weights throw you off, this place is for everybody. It really is a family. It's just a great place with all the useful equipment you could need for a good workout. The trainers that work here are always friendly and the owner takes a real pride in being available to his customers. I've had memberships at LA and 24 but I'm serious when I say; you will feel less judged here and have a community of people who want you to succeed whatever your fitness goals are.
