Positive experience: I been going to this gym for years, I’ve noticed the quality has gone down over the years. I will be brief, for starters the gym restrooms are not kept clean like they use to be. The hand washing stations almost never work, soap is never replenished or the paper towels. Equipment will remain in “out of order” for weeks at a time, this causes frustrations as I can’t complete my workout. Another huge issue is the AC seems like it’s never on when the facility’s occupancy is high; it’s so hot in there. (I know it’s a gym and it’s good to lose weight, but it’s uncomfortably hot). All in all, my biggest issue is gym cleanliness; it’s practically non-existent in the restrooms.

Fantastic experience: I went with my daughter on a school field trip & had a fun time. I hadn't played lazer Tag in years.... we all had fun.

Positive experience: Whether you like arcade games, outdoor activities, or both. This is the right place with you, it offers so much such as laser tag, arcade games, indoor surfing, rock climbing, gym, indoor soccer, etc. Very fun and for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Last night we had the most amazing birthday party for my kid! Three hours of wave riding, rock climbing, lazer tag, fun food, and video games. Everyone had the most fun they've had in a long time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I don't know how it is at the end of the day, but the facility, while old, seems relatively well-maintained and clean. The rock climbing wall is the real thing though. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. The soccer field is perfect; the gym is well organized, I like to go in the morning because the gym is relatively empty, but I like it more because it is friendly and you don't feel judge by people, like in other places.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym around the area!! I've been a member for more than 5 years, it has been one of my best years of my life. The trainers are highly skilled and have the ability to create very challenging but manageable exercises for individuals or large groups. Showing up and accomplishing very intense workouts relives my daily stress.

Fantastic experience: Short drive from Bakersfield and easy to find. We all enjoy to many activities they had to offer. The food is ok but you can find a great place to eat in town.

Fantastic experience: My company had a party for all the staff and their families July 2019. What a great experience! The event planned, Anthony, was very efficient with emails to finalize the plans. We were able to bring in our own caterer. The McDermont staff were so great the day of. Clint and his team made sure our room was perfect, making adjustments to the table and chairs we rented from them. We had 100 people in the Light Room and we still had room to games, a DJ, and photo booth! I highly recommend you consider this venue for your next group event. There was a wide variety of things to do for all ages!

Fantastic experience: A pretty sweet building. Looks like an old packing house converted into all sorts of good stuff. Areas to play basketball, volleyball and soccer. Also an arcade for the little ones and a gym for fitness buffs.

Fantastic experience: Came up from Bakersfield to visit McDermont and it was definitely worth the drive. I took four boys ages ranging from 5 to 10 and they all had a blast. The facility is very nice and we'll maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The boys enjoyed the wave rider and Lazer tag the most. The rock wall was really cool too. I wish we had checked it out years ago.

Fantastic experience: Had a blast with my loved ones. Most of the games worked. Soccer fields we had all to ourselves. Even had a new wiffle ball batting cage so my 4 yr old nephew could even swing and homer.

Fantastic experience: Their laser tag is the best I've ever been to. The course is massive and they change it often. There are two levels and there is plenty of stuff to hide in or under. Neon and black everywhere with good equipment. The equipment is heavily used but you can tell it's good quality. I would drive hours just to go here for laser tag it is that good. Their soccer field, rock climbing, basketball and volleyball areas in my opinion are all well maintained for the size of the area and the prices they charge. I feel safe using all of their equipment and nothing seems neglected or dilapidated. It is true that they do not run climate control much it is cold in the winter but not freezing it feels like they do run some heat. If it is hot in the summer they really need to consider swamp cooling. It is cheap and effective and the technology is must better than it used to be for newer coolers as long as you are cooling fresh exterior air.

Fantastic experience: I think this is a great thing the city has done for the local community. I have seen so many people using and enjoying this facility, from young to old, I was astonished when I seen it. It gives the opportunity to the locals to do so many things they might not normally get the chance to do, without going way out of their way. I think it sets an example for other towns to strive to. Hats off to the City of Lindsay!
