Fantastic experience: Started coming to this Gym at the beginning of April 2022. And it has been the best move I’ve ever made for my health. I’ve lost nearly 40 pounds in five months and put on 5 pounds of muscle. I was an absolute beginner when I started but The two trainers, Kyle and Cassidy, always made me feel welcome and supported while I found my footing. The classes are challenging but doing them with a group is a huge motivation, and you learn a ton of different exercises. Cassidy’s nutrition coaching gave me clear goals that made it simple to lose weight and not feel like I was starving. I paid for a $10 Gym membership for years and it never helped because I didn’t know what I was doing. Going to a gym that is invested in your success is way more effective to reach your goals. Trust me if they can help me they can help anyone.

Fantastic experience: The Bearded Trainer is awesome. Kyle (the owner) is very personable & treats every client the same. His energetic personality makes working out fun! He’s also great at making sure you’re reaching your personal goals & always pushes you to do your best. The atmosphere in the gym is very welcoming and the gym is ALWAYS clean and organized! I highly recommend if you’re wanting to feel stronger physically & see real results!

Fantastic experience: More than the value of creating lifestyle habits like regular exercise and more strategic nutrition I have found that what Kyle is truly amazing at is working with and caring about the individual. Kyle is one of the most dynamic trainers I have ever met. His ability to meet the individual where they are and challenge them to where they aren’t through tools like progressive exercise and strategic nutrition are what make his gym the type of place that not only do you feel welcome when you are new and not where you want to be but also inspired/excited to take on the work one weight at a time until you arrive somewhere that you are excited about.

Fantastic experience: 6 years ago, during my 3rd pregnancy I developed awful chronic pelvic pain that came on just walking. Even after my pregnancy my pain remained and I was no longer able to run (after having run 3 half marathons, this was really sad for me). Trying to find a diagnosis and a proper treatment plan, I did an MRI, along with seeing doctor after doctor with different opinions. One Doctor said I needed a vein oblation. I did weekly massages for 3 months along with physical therapy AND acupuncture (yes in my pelvis-it was not comfortable) weekly for 5 months with zero improvement and a LOT of money wasted! I was told to not do any training where it caused pain. I learned what triggered my pain ( walking for a long time and running and lunges, anything abductor related or even hamstring at times) and avoided doing those things whenever I could. Since I started really focusing building my strength in those areas that triggered my pain, along with making stretching and recovery a priority, I have noticed less and less pain when doing those triggering exercises. Focusing on the strength aspect of things has shown me more improvement in 10 weeks than any of the other medical and physical measures I was taking. I didn’t expect this outcome and honestly wasn’t even looking for a solution since I had accepted my chronic pain and dealt with it for so long. I am still so surprised I have been able to do the running and lunges with very minimal pain! I had accepted I would never run long distance again and after sprinting today I felt a sense of hope that I haven’t felt in 6 years.

Fantastic experience: Class environment and structure is AWESOME! I love just showing up and not needing to plan a workout or know what I am doing. You get great personal feedback and correction throughout class too. It feels like a personal trainer even with a big class. I highly recommend this program!

Fantastic experience: I am SO grateful for The Bearded Trainer! I am 58 years old and have never been one to workout or go to a gym. I never thought I would feel comfortable in one. I joined The Bearded Trainer’s two-month Comeback Challenge with and at the encouragement of my siblings. I am so glad I did! I am in better shape now than I have been for years. Kyle and Mike were amazing coaches! I always felt accepted and never judged. I only felt encouragement! Thank you, thank you for the great experience!

Fantastic experience: My experience with The Bearded Trainer has been life changing in the best way! As a person who has not worked out most of their life, I felt lost in other gyms. I didn't know what I was doing and it was easy to succumb to doubt about my goals. Like most people, I quit more times than I can count. Kyle and his excellent staff have changed all that for me. They provide accessible workouts in a group setting where a professional trainer can direct and help you in exactly what to do. They go out of their way every day to ensure that my form is safe and effective. If I need help, they are always willing and able to provide what I need. They are friendly and anxious to hear your goals and concerns. They care about how fitness changes people's lives and it shows. I noticed during my first week, which was free as a trial period, that the staff went out of their way to help me and make sure I was doing alright in every way. Even now, as a member, nothing has changed. They really care and want me to succeed. The workouts designed by the staff provide structure and help me to learn more and more about fitness every day. However, they encourage you to modify and adjust to fit your needs. No need to feel pressured to perform right away, as you can tailor what is being asked of you with full support from the staff. The commitment to avoiding injury and making fitness a lifestyle really shows. The community is open and accepting. It was easy to meet people and work together to make sure we were doing things right. I see many of the same people regularly and it makes for an excellent and supportive atmosphere. There are people of all ages and genders. No one is out of place, not matter where they are in their life or fitness journey. The pricing is more than fair. There are classes at all hours and an open gym period every day except Sunday where you can access the gym. Pricing depends on the frequency that you come, but even the upper tier plans are accessible to most people. For the hands on learning you receive, and the planning and guidance towards your goals, it's a steal. There are several other services you can employ for additional pricing, such as nutrition coaching, in-body scans, and personal training. These supplements are excellent and add to what the gym has to offer. I feel like I found a one stop shop for everything I need for my goals. I can't say enough good things about this place. Come try a week for free and see how much it improves your life. You will fit right in :)

Fantastic experience: The best workout experience! Clean. Professional. Safe. Fun. Hairy. Kyle not only clearly cares about every person in the gym but he also cares about his programming and his equipment. The place is so clean I could eat a cinnamon roll off the floor... and could afford to given the calorie burn I get in his workouts. But really... the only problem is that this guy and his gym aren’t a secret anymore. I just wish I had found him sooner.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Cassidy and Kyle for about 5 months now! It is the highlight of my week when I get to train. The gym is top quality, always clean, and has an awesome atmosphere. The workouts are all adjustable to your own pace and level of mobility which is something I think everyone can appreciate. If you’ve been on the fence, give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality I started training here a few months ago and can’t say enough good things! I am a fitness novice and have felt nothing but welcomed and encouraged when training. They focus on physical fitness, but also the mental aspect which has always been missing at other gyms. Fantastic experience: My husband and I went in for in in-body scan and analysis. Wow! The amount of information we got from a simple test was amazing! As a data person, I appreciated the way the Kyle broke it all down with us. He took his time to help us understand and to set some goals. For the price, The Bearded Trainer more than delivered! Kyle was relatable and friendly and professional. After our consultation, he even took some time to show us around his well-equipped facility and gave me some helpful training pointers. I tried his suggestions and then and there I did my first pull up! :) overall we were very impressed. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Ever since the COVID pandemic started, I have been extremely hesitant and cautious about working out at a gym. I checked out the bearded trainer and was impressed by the cleanliness and measures that are being taken to keep everyone safe and healthy (temp check, masks, and social distancing). The trainers (Kyle and Mike) are the best guys in the area! They know their stuff and will push you to do your best all while having a good time. I highly recommend you checking out the bearded trainer and bringing your friends with you.

Fantastic experience: This gym and the community are the best! I started to attend this gym when COVID first stared. I was extremely impressed with the owner Kyle and how strict he is on the sanitation of the gym. I would recommend this gym to anyone. I drive 45 minutes and it’s worth the drive everyday! If you are looking for a Community of individuals to push you and help you achieve your goals this is the right place.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the bearded trainer for a little over a year now and it is one of the first times in my life I have looked forward to working out. The classes are able to handle any skill level and you can push yourself as hard as you want without being shamed by others. Kyle, Mike, and Alicia are all extremely supportive and care about their clients. Often times after a tough workout I will get a text checking in on me to ask how I am feeling or telling me I did great. It is this personal aspect that makes the bearded trainer so amazing. I recommend the bearded trainer to just about everyone I know and whenever they come for the first time they leave loving it. If you fall into any of the follow I recommend trying out the bearded trainer: - Have a hard time getting motivated to go to the gym - Don't know the best safe workouts - Feel intimidated at vasa or other gyms - Want to push yourself alongside some friends - Feel like you've plateaued in your fitness - Are just looking to try something new

Fantastic experience: I visited The Bearded Trainer for a quick workout while on vacation, and all I can say is I need this type of gym in my life on a regular basis. It is so nice to simply show up and not have to put any thought into coming up with a workout, but leaving with most of my muscle groups effectively worked. Kyle, the bearded trainer, was so kind, professional, helpful and encouraging. I never felt dumb, insecure, or out of place in the setting, and Kyle even texted me the next day to make sure I was feeling OK. The equipment is all great, the facility is clean, and if I lived in Utah I would have a regular membership. I can’t recommend this place enough. One visit and you’ll be hooked.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about Kyle, the lead trainer and owner of The Bearded Trainer! I have tried other gyms in the past, from CrossFit, Orange Theory, Boxing gyms, and I always seemed to end up injured. I joined The Bearded Trainer with a sprained wrist and daily knee pain, and Kyle helped me every day to strengthen and cure my wrist and knees. Today I am the healthiest and strongest version of myself that I ever been in my life — with zero injuries! Kyle is by far the most attentive trainer I’ve ever worked with, he makes sure everyone’s form is perfect, and makes sure everyone is having a great time as well! He has built such an amazing community of accepting and loving people. I have never felt any judgement at this gym... only support and often cheers from the class when someone reaches a PR! I have made some incredible, life-long friends from this loving community! Kyle has also been incredibly accepting and understanding during the stresses of Covid-19, he checked up on me while I was working out at home and even sent me workouts to do! His gym is spotless, and cleaned regularly (if not daily). He has re-structured the gym to make sure everything is sanitized before and after you use any equipment. He accepts those who wear masks and helps to make sure everyone is kept safe. Again, I cannot say enough great things about Kyle and this gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing. Kyle really takes care of it and it is always super clean. in the last month i have been seeing Kyle, i have gained a lot of muscle weight and have gotten a lot stronger. He loves it when we see results and he pushes us to keep working hard. There is a great group of guys that workout together and we always have a lot of fun. This gym has everything you need to get in your workouts.

Fantastic experience: Kyle is incredibly good at what he does. He knows a ton of different workouts that really stretch your capabilities and help you improve. He’s focused on building strength and conditioning and he delivers on both. Also has tons of good tips on nutrition that I’ve found to be very helpful. I’ve only been going for about 2 months and have already lost 5% body fat and gained multiple pounds of muscle. Thanks Kyle for all the work you put in!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Kyle’s class for almost 2 months now and I have improved so much since then. I feel much stronger when I run and practice yoga. I have also noticed my midsection is more slim. I feel there are leaps in my progress in just under 2 months. Kyle is fantastic! He knows his stuff and makes the class fun even at 5 in the morning.

Fantastic experience: Kyle is definitely the best trainer I have ever encountered! He has helped me reach a level of fitness I never dreamed I could have at age 65. His commitment to and genuine care of each individual client are what set him apart. He helps you to reach your own fitness and nutritional goals in becoming stronger, and able to live a more healthy active life. Kyle's unpredictable quick wit makes working out fun even when you are struggling. Fantastic experience: I LOVE working out with The Bearded Trainer at TBT Fitness. This gym is inclusive and empowering. Every person here is welcoming, nice and encouraging. It doesn't matter where you are starting in your fitness journey, this place will take you where you want to go. Kyle (the bearded trainer) creates tough but doable workouts that push you to get where you want while making you laugh along the way. The group training environment helps you stay encouraged and helps motivate you to push harder because everyone is pushing. With anything, you get what you put in to it but Kyle always seems personally invested in every member. He is really there for all clients giving them a one on one experience. This place is worth every penny in so many ways. If you're looking for a gym and trainer that really cares about you and your goals, has a great environment and gets you into amazing shape this is the place for you!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been a person that likes to workout or go to the gym because i never knew what to do or how it would help me. I decided i needed a trainer to help me know what to do and to help make me a stronger and healthier person and reach my goals. I can honestly say now that i absolutely love working out and training and look forward to it. Kyle is awesome because he works individually with every client he has and gives you specific things to work on based on your individual needs and goals. He gives you workouts to do and shows you how to do them and then you do it and he will help you to make sure you are doing it correctly. Sometimes when you feel really tired and think you are too tired to continue the workout you are doing, Kyle will encourage you to push through which is also nice. He is also very kind and cares about the people he trains. It’s an awesome environment and experience. I encourage any of you that are wanting to improve your strength or physical lifestyle and health to contact Kyle and start working with him, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I love going to TBT! Kyle is an amazing trainer, he can work with young, strong, very fit individuals and give just as much attention to those of us who fit into the "silver sneaker' category.:) Kyle challenges everyone who works out at his gym. He has created a community of people who genuinely care about everyone who comes to the gym. His workouts are challenging, and you leave after each training session knowing you've been pushed beyond what you may have believed you could do. Fantastic experience: I’ve tried many different types of gyms and classes throughout the years. It is hard to find the quality of training Kyle does. He is amazing! He is great at adapting workouts for injuries and now that I’m pregnant as well. I love how he is always helping us correct our form so we don’t get hurt also. He pushes us hard to reach goals and to wl aye try and be positive!I have noticed tons of great results and am stronger then ever. Fantastic experience: Kyle is a phenomenal trainer. He actually cares about his clients and is always watching to help modify or push you because he knows your body. His workouts are hard and push you but any age or body type can do them and I absolutely love that! It's not just for super fit people it's for everyone!!! Fantastic experience: What took me so long to come?! I’ve done every type of training out there and can honestly say Kyles style/type of training is my favorite. The workouts fly by, everyone is extremely welcoming, and when the session is done I’m completely satisfied. Kyle pushes you in the best way. He takes the time to understand your background, your limitations, and honestly cares about your individual progress. I haven't trained with the other coaches but I’ve heard amazing things about all of them. If you haven’t tried this gym please do. You’ll never regret it!

Fantastic experience: Kyle is a great trainer. His energetic and upbeat attitude make working out so much fun. He makes every single person in his classes feel so good about their progress and performance. The atmosphere that Kyle has created is really amazing. Everyone cheers each other on during the classes and really wants their peers to be successful. Having that kind of atmosphere really pushes members to give it their all every day and have a great time doing it. Kyle really does care about his clients. It is not uncommon for him to text you after a workout to see how you are feeling, or to check in on how your nutrition is, or even to give you a super special happy birthday shout out on social media! Kyle truly is a talented trainer who I would recommend to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Kyles gym for the past few months and it's been such an enjoyable change from a regular gym. I will list out the things I like the most. The Pros: 1. The type of people that go are a ton of fun to work out with. We have extremely fit people and we have beginners. NO ONE should feel out of place in our classes. 2. Organized classes. You do not have to worry about what you will be doing you just show up and Kyle shows you what to do. 3. The gym is always clean. 4. Not Crossfit. 5. One hour start to finish. I like the quick workout. 6. Kyle has massage guns sitting there you can warm up with. They are amazing. 7. The Bearded Trainer aka Kyle. He's funny, caring and makes coming to class enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and come try it out. It is a great gym.

Fantastic experience: I love TBT! Kyle makes sure I’m not sliding through my workouts! He helps me remember why I get up in the morning! I’m stronger, and more active through out the day. Fantastic experience: Kyle is one of the greatest guys you will meet and his gym is awesome! I love how clean and professional his place functions and looks! He really does care about his clients which was one of the main things that drew me to his place. I haven’t felt comfortable to work out at other gyms in over 20 years but coming to Kyle has made that process SO much more comfortable and pleasant!! He knows just the right amount to push me and has so much knowledge and know how. I would HIGHLY recommend The Bearded Trainer to anyone who is really serious about working out or just simply wanting to get back into shape like me. One way or the other Kyle will have you covered!

Fantastic experience: The Bearded Trainer has created such a unique environment for training. They gym has such a great community vibe. No attitude, no posturing, just cool people trying to become better and stronger. Kyle is a very knowledgable trainer and is very aware of everyone who is training. He gives a lot of one on one attention to make sure you're doing the exercises with the proper form and pushes you when he knows you can do more. There is a great mix of people at the gym in age and ability. And he has all of the best equipment. The thing I like most about The Bearded Trainer is that the workouts are always changing so I never get bored. If you're looking for a knowledgeable trainer, with great equipment, killer workouts with a fun, safe and challenging environment, give The Bearded Trainer a go.

Fantastic experience: I am 64 years old. I started training with The Bearded Trainer (Kyle) exactly 75 straight weeks. I have averaged 4 to 5 training sessions every week during that time period. There are 10 Reasons I love training with Kyle: 1. It is a great activity for my wife and I to do together. I have seen her get much stronger, more agile and look even better as a result of our training. Her progress has made me really proud. 2. Kyle knows his stuff. I have had a personal trainer on and off for 30 years I have enjoyed all of them but Kyle is in a class of his own. For example, in the past I frequently hurt my back during my training sessions. Kyle has taught me how to train properly and to strengthen my back muscles. I do exercises now I would never have dreamed of doing before such as the “Trap Bar Dead Lift”! 3. The training sessions are a lot of fun. The first time I went to one of Kyle‘s training sessions I was pretty self-conscious because I was the oldest guy there. However, it seemed everyone welcomed us and was pulling for us to do well. There is a super fun atmosphere at Kyle’s gym and everyone is welcome . Kyle has a great sense of humor and he sets the tone for the whole gym. 4. The training sessions make you a lot stronger. Honestly I was shocked when I first started training about how strong many of the women are. When I first started training I doubt I could do one pull-up at a time I can now do 12 consecutive pull ups and 13 consecutive chin-ups. I hope that is OK to say in a review-but it is all a result of my 75 weeks of training at TBT. 5. Smart and sensible advice is given regarding diet. I lost 20 pounds my first six months of training with Kyle. I’ve gained about 5 pounds back and I hope it’s all muscle. My eating habits have totally changed and I feel much better. It is really inspirational to see others losing even more weight while gaining muscle. It’s pretty awesome!! 6. The yoga classes are the best. When I first went to yoga I was very apprehensive. But yoga adds a whole new dimension to physical fitness. I love the flexibility and strength that come from yoga. Lisa, the yoga instructor, is the best! 7. The TBT facilities and equipment are the best. All the equipment is new and everything is always clean. I especially love the crossbars. 8. Those on staff with Kyle are really good and great to work with. I love working with Alicia, Mike and Lisa. They each add their own strength. Kyle has put together a great team. Each of them show great interest in every participant and in my opinion has made TBT the best training facility in Utah. 9. Kyle keeps track of your personal progress. I have no idea how he does it with so many members. He knows better than I do what weights I should use for the different exercises. It is fun to continually gain strength and meet new goals! 10. Kyle has a big heart. He loves what he does because he is such a people person. He is honest and genuine and I am happy to give Kyle five stars. If I could, I would give him a 100.

And incorporating strength training helped me qualify for the Boston marathon, twice. His workouts are challenging and fun, and his music playlists are bomb. Kyle is a great trainer and motivator and his gym is clean and spacious. TBT for life

Fantastic experience: Kyle is the best trainer... ever...... PERIOD! He truly does care about his clients. The atmosphere in the gym is one that you can not get at places like vasa. Kyle makes the workouts fun and challenging and that is why i love starting my day with a workout at the TBT gym. Kyle is really good at making every single person in the gym feel good about their performance and progress. I know that if I have a question about supplements or anything related, kyle will take time out of his day to send me loads on information. I'm really grateful to be at a gym were the trainer truly cares about my success! Thanks for everything that you do Kyle!

Fantastic experience: I unequivocally recommend Kyle and TBT fitness. I’ve worked out with Kyle for 7 years. His workouts have transformed what I thought my body was capable of. Over the years I’ve lost 50% of my body fat and reached major fitness goals including an injury free 3 hour marathon. Currently he’s helping with my next athletic feat, racing (not just completing) my first half Ironman. I never feel like my training is complete without Kyle’s full body strength and conditioning classes. He takes a personal interest in each of his clients and the atmosphere at the gym can’t be beat. But don’t trust me come check it out!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE training with Kyle and Alicia at TBT! This has hands down been the most effective and fun place to work out at! The work outs are fun and safe and I love how involved they are with making sure we are doing excersizes correctly. Kyle is extremely knowledgeable with all things fitness and Alicia is so upbeat and positive it keeps me coming back day after day! The gym is so clean and well taken care of. I’ve been going for 1.5 years and still love it just as much as I did when I first started and have never felt stronger!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Kyle for the last few years and I love it. I have never been in better shape. The atmosphere in the gym is great and very welcoming to everyone regardless of fitness level or experience. Whether you haven't exercised for years and have some weight to lose, or if you are very fit and want to push to the next level you will fit right in and see results.

Fantastic experience: I have a really hard time seeing a review about this gym that expresses uncleanliness and dis-satisfaction. Since covid started the owners have been more than aware of cleanliness. The gym was crazy clean before covid... After... its next level. We all clean the equipment that is used immediately after use with a medical grade cleaner. There’s a reason why the gym has stayed open. Everyone that works out here is like an extended family member to Kyle and Shallan. They genuinely care about each person and are aware of each of us. I know with Shallan’s nursing background and Kyle's attention to detail that we are as safe as possible when we are working out. There’s zero “bro” culture at TBR. It’s the most inclusive gym you’ll find in Utah. Everyone encourages each other, there’s zero competition and egos get checked at the door. It’s a dream spot if you’re genuinely wanting transformation. I haven’t even touched on how incredibly talented Kyle is as a trainer. There is genius behind every workout. If he ever offers a personal training course, I’ll be the first to sign up. The workouts never get boring and you get stronger while laughing a little every class. I couldn’t recommend the THE BEARDED TRAINER more!

Fantastic experience: Love working out here. Kyle is very attentive to personal abilities. Has a variety of work outs that keep pushing you along with great encouragement by Kyle. I’ve recommended Kyle to everyone I talk to. I was skeptical at first but my wife asked me to join her and I’ve been consistently going ever since. I look forward to it as much as I can each week!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Kyle for 8 years now. He's helped me push towards and achieve some major goals throughout those years. He really focuses on all around self care, like taking care of the mind and body. He offers so many different options to help in achieving whatever goals you want for yourself. From yoga to nutrition coaching to personal training to small group training, there are so many resources here. There is also a wide variety of equipment that Kyle uses so well. The training never gets stale or boring, he's always mixing it up. Whatever level you're at, you'll feel welcomed here. Kyle modifies workouts for beginners and challenges the more advanced. With so many years of experience, he knows his stuff and knows how to get results. Great environment, great equipment, great coaching, I highly recommend TBT!

Fantastic experience: Kyle is absolutely awesome. The workouts are rough, but he makes them fun. He helped me increase strength tremendously in just a few months and help me rehab after shoulder surgery. If you’re looking for an amazing personal trainer, Kyle is your man. Go to this gym and you will not regret it!
