Genesis Health Clubs – East Lincoln

Fantastic experience: This gym facility is wonderful!! Basketball courts and, I believe, racquetball courts along with an indoor pool. There are plenty of lockers in the changing rooms. Upstairs there is a track around the cardio machines and cable machines. In the outer corners of the track, there are little stations you can work out in. Everything is clean and looks new!!

Fantastic experience: I just received a massage with Mr.Jones at this location and he was wonderful! He was extremely professional, listed to my needs, and very intuitive with the areas I was in pain. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Love our circuit classes! I even have my husband doing them with me! If you’re looking for a gym, come to Genesis! Not only are the classes a great workout, but the staff and trainers rock!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is super friendly. Love my trainer Jacob! They have all the equipment and amenities you could need. It’s more than a gym, it’s a club!

Fantastic experience: Genesis was recommended to us for swimming lessons and the aquatics team is amazing! We do lessons with Julie (who was recommended to us by multiple people) and she is the BEST! We call her the “Swim Whisperer” as she has been amazing with my kids! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Recently joined the gym because I truly want to get in shape but the first week was rough due to my social anxiety. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and attended a fitness class and the instructor Dusty was so welcoming and encouraging, and even showed me around the facility and greeted me the next time we ran into eachother. I feel much more at ease and comfortable showing up and attempting to do my thing. So thank you to Dusty! :)

Fantastic experience: I have been with Chelsea for 10 years! She has helped me in so many ways: my confidence, form and technique, and overall health. I can always count on her to program something great to push me to my limits, but show me how to grow as a lifter and general health enthusiast. She is caring, compassionate, and very knowledgable in many fitness areas.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a trainer who understands your limitations but is still able to challenge you, Chelsea is your person. Chelsea has trained my daughter and me over the last several years. She was able to get my daughter into a routine for herself which helped her mental health as well as her physical health. After multiple car accidents, Chelsea has helped me get back to a functional self. Not only is she exceptionally knowledgable, she is an exceptional person. She is most definitely an asset to Genesis!!!

Fantastic experience: I like it. Pretty friendly staf, decent machine variety, and they have a wet sauna, a dry sauna and even some jacuzzis in the mens room. Love that.

Fantastic experience: The personal training team is very strong. Ben and Chelsea, in particular, are great teachers and motivators!

Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you can find what you need here. The members are also inclusive and polite.

Fantastic experience: My 18 year old son and I come to your gym every day M-Sat @6:00 a.m. Grant and I are always greeted in a warm and friendly manner by a young lady named Gracie. What a super start to one’s day! Grant and I love how clean you maintain this facility! The staff is kind and gracious and always ready to help. Yesterday we were thrilled to try out the gorgeous new treadmills! What a wonderful surprise this was. Genesis receives an A++ rating from our family for going above and beyond in client service!!! So glad we joined!

Fantastic experience: Incredible Gym! This place has the best staff and community in Lincoln hands down. Everyone is incredibly helpful and the facilities are very clean and well kept. Every time I scan in, I am greeted and I have never had a problem here.

Fantastic experience: The community here makes me always feel welcome in the gym and the staff do an outstanding job on taking care of the members. The pool is a great way to relax and cool off after a workout!

Fantastic experience: We utilize Mighty Camp for our summer program. They have amazing staff and have a great selection of activities to keep the kids busy. I LOVE IT that they take them on a field trip once a week and are encouraging and introduce the kids to activities like tennis that they might otherwise have no experience with. They also focus on problem solving and being a kind friend. My daughter loves the camp and has made great friends. This is our second year. I also appreciate that Mighty Camp is flexible if we need to pull her for a few days. As long as we give notice two weeks prior we are not charged. It is amazing to be able to have structure to our summer yet flexibility if we decide to take a short trip out of town or mix it with other camps.

Fantastic experience: I just moved to Nebraska recently and looking for a new gym to join. I worked out here today and it is a nice spacious gym with alot equipment. This is the second gym I have tried and I’m really thinking about joining! I loved it

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member here since Dec of 2019. They were great during the pandemic. The cleaning and sanitation hasn’t slowed down either. The friendly and family feel makes me want to come back on a daily basis. Ben can set you up with a physical trainer that can help you develop your own workout plan. also suggest stopping and seeing Marie at the Cafe. She really has a great staff and tasty recovery shakes.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about a year and 1/2. Although not perfect always, genesis is a great place to join if you wanna reach goals in a friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Management fixes issues when they become aware of them. The regulars are a good group too. Look forward to continuing to reach new goals and heights thanks to the quality people and quality equipment.

Fantastic experience: Barb and Lydia did a great job accommodating our last-minute request for our daughter's birthday party. This is our second time having her birthday party at Genesis, and again they did a fantastic job. They did an excellent job hosting the inflatables party, and the kiddos had fun! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: From a welcome hello when you enter to a have a good day when you leave and all the great things in between from the clean and well kept equipment and the friendly staff, it's all a great experience. Took me 7 years to find the pool but so glad I did! The water aerobics classes and instructors are awesome, very beneficial for flexibility and fitness, would recommend to anyone at any level, keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: I have always enjoyed this health club since I was a very young kid, and now it only continues to grow and get better. It’s a great gym for people of all ages in a friendly location. There’s way more variety to do at Genesis than anywhere in Lincoln anyways. Proud member!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I love the Mat Pilates and Barre/Pilates classes at Genesis East Lincoln and instructor Vanessa D is wonderful! Vanessa is welcoming to all, positive and motivating. In her classes we work hard but have fun too!

Fantastic experience: We have been so impressed with the swim program at Genesis. My oldest has been doing swim conditioning for almost two years and competed in swim team this summer. My youngest has moved from private lessons to swim conditioning. The teachers and coaches truly love what they do and the kids. Julie, Jeff, Sue and the team are incredible! A great place to start your littlest with water exposure and safety and continue on with a fantastic sport with great kids and coaches.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful gym, so much equipment. The child care is AMAZING. The staff engages with my children, they are taken to a gym to play, they do crafts and story time, they read books, and NO technology. I could not justify my workouts if my kids were plopped in front of a screen..my kids beg me to go which makes my mommy time so much easier! Best child care yet and I have tried many gyms in Lincoln!

All the members are friendly and always willing to help with whatever I need. If it wasn’t for the hot tub and sauna I don’t think I’d make it through the winters here. Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality Water aerobics classes rock! Instructors are able to mix all levels of ability in the same class. You are able to get both cardio and stretching to meet your needs. Enough classes offered to meet most scheduling needs.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Genesis for their youth camps & a great family-friendly place to work out, swim, etc. The youth director, Barb, is fantastic! She is passionate about making the camp a safe & fun experience for the kids. My son loved going there this summer. The pools are also a bit hit! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely the best in Lincoln! :)

Fantastic experience: My son is 6 years old and went to summer camp at Genesis East. He enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was professional and always happy to see him. The camp included daily swimming, outdoor play and field trips. Due to weather or extreme heat some of the field trip locations had to be altered. However, leadership always communicated with the parents via email and in advance. He was able to build relationships with the camp attendees and staff. Even though camp is over for the summer, when we go to work out everyone addresses him by name... This shows that they take an interest in the children and make it special for each child there. Can't wait for no school camp!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to Mighty Camp since 2019. I love the flexibility in the schedule and options. You only have to give a 2 week notice for any changes and you get a full refund! Barb is a great leader and is so understanding as dealing with all the covid changes, regulations, and not to mention dealing with the craziness of the raquet club location remodeling. The east location is not ideal for my family but I am sticking with it as I know it will soon transition back and it is a great camp that my daughter enjoys every day, including swimming everyday and weekly field trips.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym!! I always worked out at home and didn’t think going to a gym was “for me” but I was wrong. Their group fitness classes are AMAZING! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They are open and accepting of everyone and always make sure to include you regardless of your fitness level. I highly recommend Genesis East!

My son always has a blast at PNO and he is always doing some new, fun activity in the kids club. He’s excited to go to the gym with me now. The staff is great!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality Good equipment and love the facility. Has steam room and dry sauna as well as nice showers. Personal trainers are very knowledgeable. I could spend most of my day there between the pool, gym, hot tubs and bar to get food and shakes.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication Wanted to drop a note about the Mighty Camp. The person incharge, Barb, and the other camp leaders are amazing! Besides my kid having an amazing summer, working off steam and working on skills, he can go on no school days! The communication with emails are very help in knowing what is going on and open availability for kids to attending!

Fantastic experience: I love going to Vanessa’s classes. She is a joy to be around and an excellent instructor. I also worked out with Brenna, as my personal trainer and enjoyed that too. She provided a wealth of knowledge which I am incredibly thankful for. Prairie Life/Genesis East Lincoln is a great gym. The staff are helpful and friendly and the building is large and clean. My husband and I joined this gym in 2015. We thoroughly enjoy our Genesis family. It’s our home away from home.

Fantastic experience: We ADORE Julie! She has been amazing with private lessons with our daughter for a little over a year now. The skills she’s learned is mind blowing!!! Julie has worked with our crazy schedules and been so comforting when we have questions! We are so grateful for giving Julie and her giving us a peace of mind when it comes to water safety and our child!

Fantastic experience: I would like to commend the fitness classes at the East Lincoln Genesis Club.. The instructors are very knowledgeable, high energy and patient.. They always remember to offer alternatives for those who are modifying their workout. I feel fantastic for the rest of the day after taking a fitness class at Genesis. Thank you and please keep offering the classes. They are a bright spot in my day!

Fantastic experience: The aquatics staff and programming at both Genesis East Lincoln and Lincoln Racquet Club locations are fantastic! Our kids have grown a ton in both skill and confidence in the water thanks to people like Julie and Sue, who have dedicated themselves to creating new generations of lifelong swimmers. All the instructors are patient and kind, and find ways to encourage learners to push themselves, always knowing that someone is right there if they run into trouble. This summer, they participated in the Lincoln summer swim league, and the experience helped our kids see swimming both as a sport and a social activity. I’m excited to see how they put this skill to use as they grow! I’m thankful that Genesis supports these programs, and recommend them without hesitation to everyone looking for a safe way to build competence in the water.

Fantastic experience: My son goes to the Mighty Kids Camp at this location. We absolutely love the staff. Miss Barb & her team are amazing. I would highly recommend this program. I love that my son is being active and having fun during the summer. The counselors and staff are always happy and engaging and genuinely care for all the campers. We also take advantage of the No School Programs that they offer during the year. Definitely check them out! We've met lots of new friends thru this camp & look forward to coming back again!

Fantastic experience: The gym and facilities are great here, but the classes are the real selling point! I was nervous to try group classes, but so glad that I did. The yoga classes are great, but the water aerobics class is my favorite (shout out instructor Vanessa!), even as a person in their 20s. The instructors cultivate great community and camaraderie in their class, making each person feel welcome and at home. I look forward to class each week.

Fantastic experience: We love Genesis Health Clubs' Mighty Camp! They are an excellent resource for families needing summer programing. Our kiddo was excited to go each day because he knew the staff cared about him and greeted him by name each morning. The staff at Mighty Camp is professional and patient. They strive to make each day a memorable experience as they teach sports as well as develop character building and life skills. The daily swim time in the pool was a highlight and the fact that our kiddo came home each day exhausted from being active was a huge plus! Our kiddo can be quite a handful, but the staff at Mighty Camp partnered with us and we can't say enough good things about Mighty Camp!

Positive experience: Stopped in for a workout, I'm from KC and I can't complain. It's an old Athletic Club, so it'll probably get updated. There's some old equipment but it's not bad. I'll stop by again when I'm in town. I'd recommend seeing the place if you're into fitness.
