Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this gym for over a year, and I have to say that since Gold's has taken over I have noticed a great improvement in atmosphere of the gym. The staff is all very welcoming and willing to answer any/all questions I have. I love coming to work out and recommend it to all of my friends!

Fantastic experience: I workout there 6 days a week, and there's not many times I have to fight for machines(lots to choose from). Asides from the target muscle machines, they have 2 squat racks, 2 flat benches, 1incline, and more than enough dumbbells for everyone :) The staff is friendly and the trainers are helpful! I definitely will (and currently do) recommend this gym to friends. Great job guys (and ladies), keep it up!

Fantastic experience: The gym is well-organized, clean, and in good repair. When machines are out of order they are well marked and appear to be quickly repaired. The variety of exercise equipment available is quite exhaustive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the trainers are both experienced and motivating. The fees are reasonable for the product provided.As a side note the other members of the gym seem to be cordial and non-judgmental of people in varying levels of physical fitness.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality I reluctantly tried a Zumba class…and now I’m hooked. I can not dance or have any sort of rhythm whatsoever but I enjoy the music and instructors so much. You don’t have to be coordinated either. If you can figure out the steps then just dance around to stay moving. It’s about being active and having fun.

Fantastic experience: I started going to the Silver Sneakers classes and I love it. It is so much fun! Ashley is an excellent instructor she made me feel so comfortable. The gym is full of friendly staff willing to help. The gym is very clean and organized. Very pleased!

Fantastic experience: I've been working out here for a couple years. Their trainer, Chris Casper is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his clients. I have been his client for 4 months and when I had to pause personal training for a month, he was still checking in on me; making sure I was on track; and holding me accountable. Highly recommend Chris!

Fantastic experience: As a former college athlete, I’m a more experienced lifter and was looking for a place that had a variety of equipment to fit that. This gym is definitely it. The facility is kept clean and they have tons of space and equipment. The staff is polite as well. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the hours. I feel they would benefit if they extended their weekday hours even just one hour to 11 pm. My schedule doesn’t allow me to come when they open and I’ve come right after work to a zoo. I try to come later to beat the rush but even around 8:30-9 it’s a hassle sometimes. Other than that, great gym! I think it’s worth the monthly price.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome cycle class at Genesis tonight! Even though there was 14.5 inches of snow, one of their cycle Instructors (Alvin) walked a cool 3 miles to teach his 5:30pm group class!!! You need instructors that show up for YOU because they want to, not because they have to. Thank you for the great cycle workout Alvin!

Fantastic experience: I have always had the best experience at Genesis! The trainers are amazing and truly care about you reaching your goals. Chris checks in with me all the time, and has pushed me to heights I didn’t think I could reach. It is evident that he loves what he does, and his enthusiasm and work ethic motivate me to reach my goals. The gym itself is well-maintained, and there are a lot of options for workout machines and equipment. There are tons of classes to try out, and the endless options make working out exciting.

Fantastic experience: I started working out at Genesis mid-August. The staff there is great. They're friendly and helpful. The place is kept clean, their equipment is well kept and other members are usually very friendly. Dylan in sales is very straightforward about pricing and deals, and so far my personal training sessions with Jack are going great. Best gym I've been to and definitely the best I've ever had a membership at.

Fantastic experience: It's nice to find a gym that has the all around athlete in mind. Not just cardio and not just weights but the body as a whole. Genesis is clean, spacious and ready to move you. It might cost a little more than the other gyms but the cost is well worth it from the amount of equipment to the instructor lead classes to the well maintained locker rooms. It's a great gym!

Fantastic experience: I love my gym! Chris Casper is the fitness manager and my personal trainer. I worked with him in 2019 before I got married and then after I had my baby in 2020. I’ve crushed my goals with him both times! He really takes the time to get to know you and your goals. He’s strategic in planning workouts customized for you! He’s always encouraging and is a lot of fun! Communication with your trainer is key and Chris is phenomenal when it comes to answering questions and replying back in a timely manner. The other staff members are great and friendly as well! They offer tons of classes too!

Fantastic experience: I like the layout and the laid back professionalism of this location's team. They are more than willing to help you out when you have a question. They are friendly and helpful in all ways imagined! It sounds from over other comments on other review sites that they had a change in management which I think is what sets them apart from the other locations now! The reviews received in the past are no longer an issue that I have experienced with this location. Definitely recommend using this location if you don't yet!

Fantastic experience: I have been a part of this gym for a while now and I love the community feeling you get. Everyone is very personable, and friendly. My favorite part about this gym is that it offers a variety of classes for all types of people to help accomplish different goals. I am not the best at self motivating when it comes to working out, so it is really nice when instructors such as Kelsey, Katie, and Sara are there to push you to become your better self. My go-to classes that I have seen the most results in are All-American Training, cycling classes, and strength and tone! They are definitely worth a try!

Fantastic experience: Classes are the bomb! Sara teaches intense and awesome strength and tone class. Kelsey is always so full of energy, I love taking All American Training with her. If you need some motivation take any class with Katie. I also love that if I can't make a class I have access to tons of treadmills and weights. It's perfect!

Fantastic experience: Genesis Health Clubs are the best gyms in Lincoln. They offer a wide variety of group fitness classes and have the best instructors- shout out to Katie and Kelsey for kicking our butts every Sunday at All American Training! This class is an awesome way to get in, get your workout done, and get out! They are even offering towel services now, which makes it even better! If you haven't tried out Genesis, you definitely should.

Fantastic experience: Great for what I want. Good equipment with lots of variety, and the group classes are top notch. The fitness instructors are awesome (Go Katie and Kelsey!) and the schedule is convenient. Plenty of machines so never a wait. I didn't think the contract or sales pitch was any different than any other gym. I could probably save $10/month by switching things up, but the gym quality and experience is worth it to me.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best gym I have ever been apart of. I’m one of those people that need motivation and need to be told what to do when I step into the gym or I honestly wouldn’t push myself. So immediately I turn to the classes they have scheduled there. Every class is different and you get to choose what level you want to or need to be at. I fell in love with the classes not only because all I had to do was show up and follow what the instructor was doing but also because of the instructors!! You start to form a relationship with them and they become your gym family and help you achieve the goals you are trying to reach. One of the thing that makes this location special is Katie who has been there for me since the beginning of my fitness journey. When you show up to one of her classes you will be surprise on how much you can push yourself. Her motivational pick me ups come at the perfect timing that you actually believe she’s only talking to you. You will never be disappointed going to a class but you’ll always leave satisfied. Glad that you came. If you’re thinking about joining a gym I would consider this gym to be your home away from home.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about Genesis. I love the variety of classes and all the instructors are amazing! Special shoutouts to my faves: Katie & Alvin who teach Core30, Kelsey who teaches All American Training, Jesse who teaches Group Power, and Sarah who teaches Group Fight For me, the childcare offered at the gym makes it all possible. This place has changed my life!

Fantastic experience: I love working out here. The classes are fun and challenging, there's plenty of space, and the people and instructors are wonderful to work with. Katie and Sara make you feel extremely welcome in their classes. Both of these fantastic women are energetic, highly encouraging, and a lot of fun to follow in class. They know when to push you, but also when to tell you to take it easy, in order to get the best workout you can for your body. Love my FitFam at Genesis!

Fantastic experience: I have never been a person to work out, but Katie and Sara hooked me with my first couple of classes. My favorites are Power with Katie, and Fight with Sara. I also enjoy yoga, it's a relaxing change of pace. So many options to choose from, for a person like me that would not know what to do without them, and needing motivation to push harder. A must to check out!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym!! I’ve been to tons of gyms in many different states all over the country. I was in the military so I moved around a lot and always needed a gym to go to. This one is my favorite of all time. They have just about everything you could need as far as equipment goes and the layout is nice and open. The temperature is just right too. Not too hot or cold which is always nice. The best part is, they actually have group classes for everyone. Like ACTUALLY! Every gym says they do but usually only have 20 different variations of yoga, either on land or in water. Well, here they have something for everyone. A couple great classes I like are Strength 30 and Core 30. But my favorite is the All American Training. Talk about a workout! These classes push my limits every morning. Shout out to Katie Bossung and Kelsey Thayer. They are trainers/instructors at the gym here and are awesome. They truly love what they do and carry that passion into the gym with them and it rubs off on everyone around them. It’s hard to find trainers that can get people fully committed and engaged like they do. So if you’re looking for a gym, this is the one to check out!!

Fantastic experience: I have noticed a real change in the gym as far as classes and personal training go. While I don't take advantage of either as I have my own workout regimen, it has been a pleasure to see the new personal training staff and how personal they are with their clients. I have been to gyms where personal trainers are on their phones while their client is performing an exercise and I have not seen anything like that at Genesis. All of the personal trainers are involved and hands on with their clients which has been awesome to see. I also love the variety of classes offered and integrating the community and non-profits into the classes. Bottom line is that Genesis has really made a turn around and I'm proud to be a part of the gym.

Fantastic experience: The locker rooms are always clean, there is plenty of equipment (even during busy times), the staff are SO friendly and helpful, the group classes are great, and the personal trainers are the best I've ever worked with. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a little motivation and a great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, and awesome people to be around. I've never been in a gym with a better vibe. No matter if your goal is to simply stay fit during vacation or to train like a hardcore athlete, Genesis has what you're looking for. The front desk staff are simply awesome always greet you with a smile! This is the best gym around!

Fantastic experience: The staff of this location is always extremely friendly. It's always kept clean and there are so many different machines that the gym is never "too packed." I love all the different areas to workout, including an area for TRX. To top it off, classes and tanning is included. This gym is huge and friendly, making it a great experience every time I go.

Fantastic experience: So far my wife and I are loving this gym. There are rarely lines to use any of the equipment, and they have everything you could want. There is a great variety of classes. The trainers are all knowledgeable and friendly. And they have daycare in case you need someone to watch the little ones for a bit.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, clean facility. The members are serious about fitness, and treat each other respectfully. American Fitness Challenge is a cutting edge fitness class offered free, as well as other classes for all fitness levels. Reasonable pricing and all inclusive makes it a great deal.

Fantastic experience: Genesis is so far the best gym I have ever been to. I always receive a welcoming smile and greeting from the desk staff and the manager together with my personal trainers have been and still very much working together to make me acheive my goals. I will recommend this gym to everyone who is interested in having a life changing experience.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, came in for a quick workout while out of town. This place has everything, cardio, strength machines (HAMMER!!), CrossFit (with a legit Oly platform), awesome locker oops, showers and sauna, yoga, personal training, you name it! Couldn't ask for more
